pwedeng pwede sir!  :-D I had one 'cause eclipse requires it. So far no probs.

I started programming as a part of school requirements. Tapos naadict ako so ginagawa ko siya for fun, naging hobby ko siya in a sense. Solid na research etc.

Masaya solid nakaka addict, nakakatuwa lalo kasi may patutunguan pala yung hobby/addiction/fun of coding. Biglang may mga cliente na nagpapagawa ng programs hehe.

Ngayon trabaho ko araw araw ay mag program na  :-D . it's the best job and the most fun i've ever had ehhehe.

Coding is fun. suggestion lang sa mga gusto matuto ng self learn.

learn either php or javascript first para loose language(ala data types masyado)

learn procedural programming first before learning object oriented programming.

best way to learn is to try it yourself. try making a program of something that you want to use. I made an instant messenger na online para mag cheat sa tests nung college heheh. that was fun :p

Ako naman, i consider myself a programming hobbyist. Nagstart ako magprogram nung college, and i really enjoyed it.

Hindi ako mahilig sa cms, hehe. I think that programming things from scratch ( or in a framework ) is better kasi you get to know each detail of your work as you are doing it. Pero yung mga custom classes and custom scripts ko, palaging copy paste na lang.

Hehehe, anyone here wants to tak about android? :)

One of the reasons naging hobby ko yung programming is nakulangan ako sa course offerings, so self-study as much as I can outside of the college. :D And if I'm not mistaken it helps fill up your resume, like when you participate in open-source projects and whatnot. :)

yeah...tama, tama... they can't teach you everything within four years. at naniniwala ako na mas marami ako natututunan pag self-study....

yes mas makokontento ka pag nagself study kasi sa mga prof ko dati, they just teach the basics and gave me ideas. then ako na ang mag eexplore with the help of the books and net. masarap mag program.. tyaga tyaga lang talaga

Google ang kaibigan ko in times. Along with XAMPP at Notepad++. I love that editor because of it simplicity, versatility and it's free! ano pa nga bang hahanapin ko. Except for C++, i use the old school borland. What editor / compiler do you guys recommend for c++? yung mejo bago bago naman.
