Correct ka sa acronyms, pero yung DSP ay sya yung heart nang pag process ng sound from analog to digital and digital to analog..., sya din yung responsible for drive, modulation, amp & cabinet simulation.

Hey bro, better buy the HD500. Im an active member of GP and some of us are very keen with this things. First of, I'm a sick fan of Lincoln Brewster, he's quite favorable of the new POD HDs especially of the Park Amp sim. Indeed LB is using it and he's so keen about that. I think he made a patch on the HDs na kapantay nung patch niya dun sa Axe Fx niya. Mantakin mo men, Axe Fx yun so hanep yang POD HDs. Then Kenny, ahh, i think he's keen about the POD HDs too but he doesn't like the HD Amp sims cuz he's not using any of those (except for the AC30 he's using that). He's a fan of Agro stuffs of line 6 so he's waiting for more upgraded parts. Im not sure if he's gonna stick with the X3L, but i think it would be a long time siguro.

btw im a X3L using too. If your gonna ask my opinion about it... If I had the money id seriously buy a POD HD, dahil sa wala edi wala. Tsaka pod hds are made not to kill the X3L, cuz still the X3L is waaay more versatile because for the vocals, bass and pre-amp features. I think. When the money comes, id buy a M9/13 and NOT the POD HD. Why? That is my dream set-up way befooore. I bet in a blind shoot-out vs the X3L and the POD HDs. The audience wont know what your using. 90% of the time

magkaiba kasi gamit ng m9/13 sa x3l. the m9/13 is just effects and stomps only. it's cool if you have your own amp.

Well db the new POD HDs has the M9/13 stomp effects and the X3L ayy wala. So that's why i need one.
And the effects on the X3L lalo na yung drives are very much craaap.. yesss they are to me and wala na kayong magagawa don kasi crap sila ) joke. They sound pretty bad and harsh to me kasi.
So having a X3L (add advantages sa MOST POWERFUL POD noon) + the M9/13 e para na rin akong nag upgrade ng iba

Solve na ako sa AMP SIMULATION ng X3L, (though maganda nga RAW yung sa HD) dahil sa crap yung effects ng X3L e kailangan ko ng solution don which is the M9/13. And besides hindi naman kasi forever e madadala yung X3L tas lagi ko iririg sa M9. Kung may decent AMP naman dun sa even edit M9 lang dadalhen ko diba? Kesa sa buong POD HD pa madala ko. Convenient din kasi pag separate yung ganun. If may amp na maganda M9 na lang, kung PA mode edi X3L + M9. Depende talaga.
Im a frustrated composer, singer, artist whatever kasi. Thats why im keeping my X3L din kasi full recording tank ito not like the new POD HDs

Thanks bro! big help talaga. i understand your situation, i'm also a singer, composer, guitarist at music team leader at lahat lahat na sa band namin. and i think X3L is really a big help in recording and other stuffs. i'll think i'll go also for POD X3Live +M9/13 na lang din if ever hindi din ako makuntento sa sound ng X3L. pero bro i got this suggestion from ariel from guitar hospital na sabi sa kanya ng friend nya na well known guitarist, "ang tunog daw parang pagkain yan eh, niluluto o ginagawa muna yan kapag tama ang timpla mo masarap ang pagkain, same goes sa effects kung tama ang timpla mo ng mga effects at ma-i-babagay mo sya sa sound ng gitara at amp/PA mo maganda din ang result ng sound" syempre pag sumobra ka sa isang part pedeng umalat ang pagkain o tumabang sa efex pedeng maging masagwa at panget yung tunog. since ang lawak ng capabilities ng POD x3Live compared to other multi efex baka di mo pa lang talaga sya totally na e-explore kaya hindi pa lumalabas yung good sound nya. my opinion lang bro ha. salamat talaga sa lahat now i'm satisfied about POD X3Live but still asking God's guidance and decision kung will ba talaga nya ako magka X3L. hehe.. thanks a lot. Yup meron bro. May 6 vocal pre-amp ang X3live. Nagamit ko yung X3live ko dati for recording. Unfortunately hindi ako naging solve sa vocal pre-amps ng X3live so and ending pinatay ko nalang yung vocal pre-amps. Parang naging audio interface nalang yung X3live. Kaya ok na ako sa HD500 kahit walang vocal pre-amps. Pero hopefully sa mga firmware updates maglabas sila ng "free" na vocals pre-amps for HD500!!

Just got a podHD yesterday. Sabay kami ng friend ko   he doesn't have philmusic though. we're recording a song with our pod HDs right now though, and will probably post it here for soundclip purposes.. maybe when school takes a break this december.

and now my board is completeee.
