Title: what can you say about DS-1 Brit Mod

mga sirs, tulong lang po for review, kasi may nag tetrade saking ng DS-1 Brit Mod...

anu po ba masasabi nyo sa mod na ito?... good or bad po ba?...

good sya. parang, mi audio crunchbox but cleans up with the volume knob better. although to my ears parang mas compressed yung tunog nung britmod sa tube amps.. sa solid states pareho lang yata.

parang marshall in a little box, nawala ang tinis ng ds1.....definitely better than the stock!!!!!

i regret that i sold it..... malamang papamod ulit ako kay sir markV....hehehehe

bili ka na lang bro tapos pamod mo kay sir mark... sobrang bait nyan... bibigyan ka pa ng tips sa guitar....hehehe :-D

If you have a stock DS-1, go ahead and have it modded. Pero kung wala pa, forget about it and order a Shredhead from Mark instead.

it's the best distortion that ive ever had eversince i played guitar,i liked it more than my shredhead though "___"

you have to try the stock version to appreciate the mod.
there is a significant difference.

should you get a chance of getting a shredhead---that would be a better bet!

Back then, when I was playing gigs with an electric setup, people have complimented me on my sound and they were quite surprised that I was using this cheap, modified pedal. Great stuff. Usually my volume would be at 12:00, gain at around 2:00, and tone at around 11:00. I've let my BritMods go thinking I could get a better pedal, but somehow I've always looked for and reacquired a BritMod. I've had around 2 or 3 of these back then (in succession). Too bad, I had to let my ENTIRE electric rig go when I shifted to an acoustic setup.

Now that I'm back playing live band gigs, I'm thinking of getting another one. :) Wala pa lang budget, hehe.

gassing again for a brit mod :D sobrang dependable eh. tska I just really liked the sound. not too harsh, but not lacking balls hahaha
