Z Customs are high-end cymbals, pero I think they're suited for Metal, Hardcore and other types of music with a heavily distorted string section that needs crashes to cut above the mix. I play metal, but I love A's.

thanks

I can't comment about the crash characteristics itself but based from the difference with and with out rivets yes it will create a big difference. Rivets pronounce a longer sizzle sustain sound.

Pareho lang magandang brand yan. But personally I use Sabian. I also like Zildjians, lalo na yung mga K Custom Fast Crash, A Custom Fast Crash. Pero with my skills right now, di ko pa maja-justify bumili mga ganun kamahal na cymbals. Biro mo crash lang mahigit 10K. The same with Sabians, di pa justified bumili ng HHX, AAX.

So, we go to the entry-level sets. B8 gamit ko. Anu ba katapat ng B8 sa Zildjian. ZBT diba? Halos magkapresyo sila e. B8 Pro naman is ZBT Pro dba? Just correct me if I'm wrong pero parang ganun sa palagay ko. Well, a drummer friend agrees with me. I just don't know with others.

So ngayon parang I can't help but conclude na Sabian=More bang for the buck(?)
Tama ba?

anong difference ng armand series sa A series??

The Armand Series is part of Zildjian's A series.

I'll just post what's said on their ad...

Zildjian proudly introduces a new series into the A Zildjian Range based on the popular 19" Armand Ride and the inimitable sound of the 60's.  During the rock and pop explosion of the 60's, the great drummers of groundbreaking bands used A Zildjian cymbals to make their mark.  You can hear Zildjian's distinctive sound in the great recordings of that era, from the Beatles to The Beach Boys, from Cream to The Jimi Hendrix Experience, from The Rolling Stones to Chicago.  Zildjian has now resurrected that nostalgic cymbal sound with these exciting new models.

Adding to that, Zildjian made the Armand cymbals in honor of Armand Zildjian.

I guess with the Armand cymbals, they're just reintroducing the old-school 60's Zildjian cymbal sounds to the modern generation.

Like, say, if you're in a tribute band that plays 60's music.  These Armand cymbals could be a great choice.

Or for those drummers who are looking for that old-school sound for their music.
