What are your thoughts on the NUX MFX-10 Guitar Multi-effects Processor?
I'm thinkin of getting one... I just wana try how it feels like...

It sounds good in my opinion, I just wish that it can assign different amp models on each channel, because Amp A/B can switch channels of same amp model. Other than that its a good Multi effects. I bought it at 5.5k and I can say that its really Good for that price. :)

got my hands and that baby and it's pretty decent...
the delays are good and you have plenty to choose from and it's separated from the modulation (thank goodness for that coz the delay in the ME70 is with the MODS hahaha and i can't use both when i do the looper)
I'm ok with the amp simulations and Cabinets ( I only play at home so I use the effects as a pre-amp... I hate the pre-amp on my HOT CABS Amplifier)
The Distortions are great from something like a tube screamer style to the heavy ones... fair enough for me :)
Chorus is much better i think as compared to that on the ME70 hehehe (ME70 peace out i still love you) more range and there's not only 1 chorus on this baby :)
Pretty much this unit will serve you well on your daily home use... can be a handy for recording... might also be good for a gig (make sure you get your tone first before you go to war with this ^_^)
This unit is good by the buck! Not that pricey and cheap (considering it's a Chinese brand) just alright ^_^
You can spend hours and hours tinkering this unit and create as many sound types as you want... I'd compare this to the Zoom GFX5 but the NUX MFX-10 is better (again this is my opinion) hahaha...

it's a good buy for its price range...
you get a 20second looper and can be simultaneous with the drum machine hehehe
good for small gigs and home use

I connected the guitar and multi straight to the laptop and recorded via Windows Sound Recorder. So the sound is raw and unedited...

sakin naman yung NUX MG-100 ang binili ko mas mura pero 40 sec ang looper pwede rin sabayan ng drum machine malaking tulong sa pag-aaral ng scales, chord progression at music writing
malaking tulong din yung AUX neto para sa mga nagprapractice with backing tracks

Body is a metal chasis. The Wah is pretty decent coz you can adjust the range. Adjustment pots but the reading is digital. It has a 20s looper. Best placed on a P.A. System rather using a kick ass amplifier. You can use speakers and still get a good sound for practice and home use.

The difference between the two is, yes the looper is one. But the biggest is the Amp Channel. MG100 only has 1 channel while the the MFX-10 has 2 channels. So if both have 12 amp types, the MFX-10 has an advantage coz you will get the second channel of the amp model. There are also differences on the amp simulation coz the MFX-10 has a DS1 modeler :-D
The MFX-10 works great for me. I hope I shed some light between the two fx :-D rock on bro!

i guess for me who is only a hobbyist, mfx-10 might just a little too much for what i need. i jam occasionally with friends and former band mates pero di naman regular. siguro once every quarter at least. madalas sa bahay or sa inuman lang. thanks again for the input. peace! :)

Yes bro you can store a 20 second loop and umuulit ulit lang yun. Ang maganda pa is meron drum machine so you can practice your scales endlessly and it's fun. What ever you wana ask about this device please don't hesitate to ask and I'm more than happy to tell what I know and experienced. :-D

I got my Nux from a trade online... It would be better to use it on a Power Amplifier rather than a very good amp imho... Make sure your turn on the Mixer/Phones button on para mas real yung lalabas na sound... I'm content with the pre-amps and this unit is fair enough for it's price range... sturdy and tough coz it has a metal chasis... I'm done with this unit and selling it hahaha... it's not that I don't want it anymore... just another case of GAS :lol: :lol: :lol:

Yes sa mga power amplifiers para magamit mo ng maigi yung mga pre-amps mismo ng Nux MFX-10... Isipin mo, bakit mo pa gagamitin yung pre-amp ng Nux kung maganda naman yung amp mo? This is for budget players who don't have enough cash but want a decent sound coming out from their rig :-D I'm using my Nux just on a speaker system and it's still good for home use...

Correct ka diyan... tweak to the sound you like... and ganda ng tunog ay subjective, it will always be based on somebody else's ears... kick ass nga yung FX pero sa pandinig niya e pangit naman, kaya wala din kuwenta... tapos ibinenta, then yung nakabili gustong gusto... so nasa user pa rin yan... I hope you will find the tones you want sa multi na ito... I did ^_^

di hamak naman na mas maganda yung G3/G3x pero gaya ng sabi ko dito sa thread ok na din itong Nux MFX-10 para sa price range niya... Of course you should not expect so much from the unit considering na mura siya... Good for home use and small gigs basta maayos mo ng mabuti yung mga patches mo :)
Magandang laruan at marami ka nang puwedeng magawang sound :-D :-D :-D

yes puwedeng puwede... naka chain ka pa rin naman ng signal... nasubukan ko lang kasi na kabitan pa yung NUX ko noon ng ME70 at yung Nux ang ginawa ko na pre-amp... pero stomp di ko pa nasubukan...

Hello! I don't know exactly what you mean about dotted 8th but I do know that it has 2 kinds of delays: Analog Delay and Tape Delay, both have ranges of 40ms-2000ms :)

Di ko nasubukan kung puwedeng timplahin yung Channel B ng nung amp simulation... but i didn't see that anywhere in the manual...
By the way, what do you mean by standby? sorry di pa kasi ako nakahawak ng GT series or ME-30...
ang pinakanagustuhan ko dun is yung mga chorus, delay, at amp sims... there is always a flaw that you would find on every multi fx but for the price, you can never go wrong... it's worth it...

purely patch siya... pero puwede mong tanggalin yung amp and cab modeling sa chain kung gusto mong gamitin yung pre-amp ng amplifier mo...
Di ko pa nasubukang salpakan ito ng stomps pero i did connect it to an ME-70 at ginamit ko lang yung Nux as pre-amp hehehe...

sir i suggest you go over the user’s manual and study the amp models. dun mo malalaman yung amp simulation na gusto mong gamitin at saka mo salpakan ng fx yung modeling mo.

I was more of the tinkering type kasi kaya i did not bother make copies of tones from songs or artists... try mo magsearch online bro sa mga Nux enthusiasts

Hi to all NuX users here, I am new to this multifx and I just bought a used MG 100 but is still in mint condition and just bought it at 2K for the former owner is getting married and is quitting guitars that is why he sold it. Anyway, I am a GT10 user and thisis my big rig setup with others stomps connected to it and sounded really, really good. I bought the Nux MG-100 for my small setup for my out-of-town gigs. Well, what I did is I copied all the patches I have in my GT10 through my ears and to tell you honestly,the sound is almost the same. Mas madali nga lang mag tweak sa NuX kasi parang stompbox lang ang tinitweak mo kaya nga lang hindi pa din exact ang tunog na gusto ko kasi sa konti lang ang mga knobs na pipihitin mo. Kung tamad kang magtweak at gusto murang multieffects NuX ang bilin mo. My GT10 rig weighs around 25 to 30 kilos my NuX rig weighs just like a laptop it is actually kept in a laptop bag. Pwedeng i-hand carry sa plane. Satisfied ako sa sound. Dotted 8 wala but you can have as close sound as dotted 8. Wala lang siyang master volume kung kakabit ka sa poweramp in ng amp at hindi sa guitar input. Hi to all NuX users here, I am new to this multifx and I just bought a used MG 100 but is still in mint condition and just bought it at 2K for the former owner is getting married and is quitting guitars that is why he sold it. Anyway, I am a GT10 user and thisis my big rig setup with others stomps connected to it and sounded really, really good. I bought the Nux MG-100 for my small setup for my out-of-town gigs. This is exactly what i'm telling so many people. They are expecting like to get a GT10 sound or HD500 sound from a 4 thousand peso unit :-D :-D :-D

sa mge merong nux multi effect, totoo bang nasa iisang category lang yung pedal wah tsaka distortion? so ibig sabihin hindi pwede pagsamahin ang dalawa sa isang patch? nakita ko kasi sa manual, balak ko sana bumili nito dahil merong phrase loop at the same time may drum loop magandang panghasa to ng skill ko. tnx

hi sir, MFX-10 user ako, about dun sa category ng distortion and pedal wah. actually pwede syang separate. ung mga save kong patch na distortion nd metal, lahat un merong pedal wah. kaya okay. kahit wala akong external na wah pedal, okay na din. :)

Hello, mga sir pasali po. I ordered this effect kahapon lang and waiting it to arrive this week. This would be my first guitar multi-effects pedal and I did backread before deciding to purchase this product. And hoping that this product would satisfy me, given that I only play lang naman sa house, for home practice. I had the MFX10 for barely a month now and still di ko pa napupuno ung 9+ patches nya. 5 lang ang gamit ko eh, bank 1 for clean tones and going to soft to hard drive na ung the rest. Ganda ng MFX, panalo. Wala lang tap tempo - pero ok lang un bsta me metronome ka. The sounds are great, limited lang tlga ung wah so volume lang ang function ko. I have a Behringer Hellbabe Wah so ok pa rin. Bsta tyga lang sa pg'tweak. U can immitate different sounds from vai to eric johnson hanggang metallica mula kill em all hanggang latest album kaya gayahin! for a very low price - SULIT!

got my hands and that baby and it's pretty decent...
the delays are good and you have plenty to choose from and it's separated from the modulation (thank goodness for that coz the delay in the ME70 is with the MODS hahaha and i can't use both when i do the looper)
I'm ok with the amp simulations and Cabinets ( I only play at home so I use the effects as a pre-amp... I hate the pre-amp on my HOT CABS Amplifier)
The Distortions are great from something like a tube screamer style to the heavy ones... fair enough for me :)
Chorus is much better i think as compared to that on the ME70 hehehe (ME70 peace out i still love you) more range and there's not only 1 chorus on this baby :)
Pretty much this unit will serve you well on your daily home use... can be a handy for recording... might also be good for a gig (make sure you get your tone first before you go to war with this ^_^)
This unit is good by the buck! Not that pricey and cheap (considering it's a Chinese brand) just alright ^_^
You can spend hours and hours tinkering this unit and create as many sound types as you want... I'd compare this to the Zoom GFX5 but the NUX MFX-10 is better (again this is my opinion) hahaha...

I connected the guitar and multi straight to the laptop and recorded via Windows Sound Recorder. So the sound is raw and unedited...

dapat pareho pa rin ang pag-ayos mo ng channel A/B... tapos sa B yun ang lakasan mo ng konti ang volume para maging boost siya... yung master is yun ang pinaka main volume mo.

sir kamusta po pag lipat ng bawat patches ng nux mg100, hindi naman po ba siya nadedelay at madali lang po ba mag lipat to another patches/effect? nag dadalawang isip kasi ako kung mg100 or mfx10 kukunin ko. ang gusto ko sa mg100 e may 40sec phrase loop siya 20sec lang kasi yung sa mfx10. ano po maisasuggest niyo mg100 or mfx10. thanks :)

kung sa tunog i think halos magkapareho lang naman ang mg100 sa mfx10... kung gusto mo ng toy na compact at longer looping time e dun ka na lang sa mg100...
note: huwag masyadong magexpect ng mataas sa nux :-D :-D :-D i mean you only get what you pay for and for it's price range, i think it's decent enough :wave:

Kaya pwede ako pumunta from clean tone ng BANK 1 going to distorted ng BANK 4 etc, pag press ko ng UP sa bank switch going to bank 4 - magb'blink n yung indicator sa NUX na 4A ibig sabihin naka standby na ung bank na gagamitin mo next. Tpos pg'apak ko sa NUX UP switch - BOOM! Bank 4A! Na.
Nagsearch lang ako sa google ng schematic ng bank switch tpos ung mga pyesa nya sa hardware ko lang binili HA -HA! :-D

Base sa experience ko e nageenhance na parang stereo sound pag naka engage yung mixer/phones. Brighter yung tunog.
