Title: GUYS, ISA PA DAW PARTY. GAME NA.

Hello everyone,

Since the party last saturday at porch was successful, i spoke with owners and they liked it so much and asked me to organize an event similar to the one held recently. But this time it will be like a festival. We are targeting this coming December 17, 2007 at the latest. Same place.

Some ideas:

Display/showcase of
 - Personal amps, guitars, pedals, pedal boards, etc.
 - Custom guitars, pedals and other electronics.

There might also be booths of some organizations selling their wares. The owners also asked if this kind of event by Philmusic forumites could be done monthly.

Thus, I am hoping for the full participation of the forum's members (owner, moderators, forumites).

Ian, and Joric I hope you can help me on this.

Ayaw nyong mag-organize na lang muna ng PhilMusic Christmas party? Early next year na lang siguro ulit ang shootout, buwelo muna para makabili ulit ang iba ng mga bagong pangtest. Focus on making music and meeting new people muna sana :)

Ayos yan! By that time tapos na din yung iba ko'ng prototypes. And my all PHILIPPINE MADE  pedal board will be my showcase,proving na may binat-bat ang pinoy!  :evil:

Great way to showcase your pedal board.
Nga pala sana dalhin mo din yun kawayan na strat kahit show and tell lang. Hear na din pag tugtog mo.  8-)

Dagdag na rin kayo ng "Swap Meet" portion sa event. Display ng for sale items para right then and there na rin magkabentahan. Mate-test personally at maraming witness heheheh iwas sakit ng lulo later on.

Perf - Sinuggest ko na to.  In fact, may mga nagkabentahan (2 different transactions) at muntik na magkabentahan dun sa tone party last Sat!  Binibili ko na nga ung Grit eh, kaso prototype daw un, so pumila na lang ako. :-)

+10 ako dito.  Sana not so soon, baka magkaroon ng 'party' and 'ear' fatigue e. Maybe the next one is the Xmas/Tone Party na, early or mid December.  Gawin na nating party talaga to the max, with matching xmas games and pakulo (eg, paripa na mga free gifts, like a free slide from me) para masaya at mawala ang personal and clique barriers.  We can have the tone shootout before or after the xmas party proper.  Like I said before, I really like the idea of an amp shootout.

Higit sa lahat gusto ko sumali pero di ako available sa 17th, meron kaming regional tour at MTV shoot. Tapos sa gabi meron big birthday celebration ang isa kong tinitingalang 'kuya'.  ;-)

in favor ako sa Christmas Party lang muna, yung focus is to have a good time and meet more fellow forumites and lots of jamming!!!

Mas ok kung merong at least 3 guitar amps na naka standby para marami pang mga GC forumites ang maka jam...ala G3.. :-D

Sana wag lang GC Xmas party. isama na rin ibang forums like bass place at pinoydrums para may mga jammers din na drummer at bassist diba?

mukhang mas masaya kung sama sama na lahat. last year kasi kanya kanya rin eh, may party gc, pinoydrums at bass place na iba iba venue.

The more jammers mas masaya diba? Boss Jim what do you think?

Game na ba ? Xmas party na to ha ? Kung Xmas party na to, turi, please change the subject bar tapos gawin kong sticky to. :D Iinvite ako sa ibang boards na. Yun na ang ambag ko.

Turi/Joric/whoever is the organizer...considering the possible large volume of people coming, it might be a good idea to start thinking na of the programme and party mechanics :D.

this event should not be limited to guitar central only. lahat kasama basta Philmusic.

i might be in the minority here but here goes...

ok lang magkaroon ng PhilMusic xmas party. but i don't know that Guitar Central can lead-organize it.  in fact, kung PhilMusic overall, di ba dapat PhilMusic mismo ang pasimuno since they'll have to sanction it?

i know GC had a fun and successful event last Sat, pero we need to consolidate and focus our energies on our own community first.  wala pa nga tayo sa level ng Bass Place eh.  and madi-dilute ang substance and networking ng guitar player's community kung biglang lalaki ang grupo.  it's also logistically harder to organize.

i humbly suggest that GC hold its own xmas party. any forumite is free to join the PhilMusic party, if ever there is one.  if we need a drummer, bassist, keyboardist for our party's open jam, madali lang naman siguro magyaya.

i'm willing to help organize. i know ian, turi, and kulas are also volunteering to organize.  meron na kong ideas for the program and mechanics and have started to bounce them around w/ the other guys.

but like i said in my post above, i think it should just be a Guitar Central party, not a PhilMusic party.
