I'm not a fan of strats before pero ang ganda lang talaga nilang tingnan lalo pag narelic. Gusto ko yung stock pickups ng Tokai ko kaso sakit na nga yata ng strat ang noise. Any recomended budget-wise pickups? Specifically for the bridge. I play variety of songs pa naman.

kung non negotiable yung noise nung 60 cycle hum ng single coil, kuha ka nalang ng noiseless pickups. try scoring toneriders or entwistles.

I use entwistle XS62Ns on my #1 Strat. these are not purely noiseless, pero mas silent siya compared to ceramic/alnico single coils. may ASN 57 model din si entwistle for pure noiseless goodness.

IMHO though, kung single coil tapos noiseless, mejo nawawala yung single coil sound.

try mo rin muna Ipashield ng ayos yung cavity and pickguard to lessen noise. pag nakakaiirita pa din, tska mo palitan ng pickups.

ok naman yung flash coat, sobrang nipis like the traditional finish nung panahon. Di naman, pero onting kurot lang may gasgas agad, unlike modern finishes with poly, kahit ikas-kas mo sa sahig wala parin scratches. Your strat is more lovely than mine hehe.

You can also look for Lace Sensors. I use those on my work recording guitar as it's pretty much noiseless and has that nice compromise to sound like a strat but also a bit like a humbucker as it can go a bit thicker sounding.
