This was about the Wampler Combo amp earlier.  But since my conversation with gainsucker has gone completely off topic, I followed his advice to change the thread title.  LOLLLL!!! 

Target completion date:  Before the year ends or early next year
Budget: Around $1,000? 

Here are my choices so far...
1.  Fender Super Sonic 22
2.  Fender Deluxe Reverb
3.  Tungsten Crema Wheat (Thanks Rob!)
4.  Blackstar HT40
5.  Siochi combo
6.  A Marshall tube combo?

and

7.  Wampler Coyote 20.  Saw this earlier today and I was impressed!!! 

Looks good...  And more importantly, sounds good!!!

Yep!  Checked that yesterday dahil sa tip ni tongski.  Pwede din!  Pero yung EVR-C30 lang ang afford ko.  Hehehe...

maraming combo amps na pagpipilian, something between a fender and marshall voicing perhaps? nice cleans but not too brittle, just enough warmth, but with good drive as well, not too much for it to sound modern, tamang grit lang to nail classic riffs.

Well, ang tugtugan ko is tipong Third Eye Blind at Matchbox 20.  Pero recently, tipong Creed ang pinag-aaralan namin buuin so medyo high gain.  And pag nagpa-practice ako mag-isa dito sa bahay, gustong-gusto ko ng high gain.  Gusto ko lang na amp is yung pwedeng pang-bedroom at pwede na din sa tugtugan.   Perfect sana yung Wampler Coyote kaso napakamahal pala. 


Siguro nga dapat i-stretch ko pa ng konti yung budget ko...

If you are a pedal guy, get an amp that  reacts well with the pedal.

Para sa akin pag reliant ka sa distorton pedal, get an amp with a god glean channel.

If you rely on overdrive, get an amp with a good dirt sound (tama ba sabi ko? Basta not too clean)

Yep yep!  Actually, ang isang hindi ko pa mapagdesisyunan is kung kukuha ba ako ng amp na may panalong cleans like Deluxe Reverb tapos umasa na lang ako sa pedals for dirt, or kumuha na lang ako ng high gain amp tapos idispatcha ko na dirt pedals ko...  Isa pang dilemma yan for me, bro. 

And may be I can stretch the budget up to a few more hundred dollars...  Maybe lang.  Towards the last quarter of this year ko pa mako-confirm.

That would really depend sa type of musc na gusto mo tugtugin. If you're purely into hard rock, might as well get a high gain amp and lessen your pedals. Pero if you also like playing cleans, an amp with a good clean and reverb is the way to go.
