Yamaha HipGig (Rick Marotta Signature Series)
« on: June 01, 2010, 10:20:16 PM »

Me likey! (in b4 Ritsu lol)

They aren't sold at Perfect Pitch outlets and I doubt the Yupangco building has one because that tiny monster costs over $2000. But I personally like the sound of it, especially the bass drum. Dynamics are easily heard and with proper mics and tuning without mufflers (who needs triggers anyway!), the bass drum still sounds so crisp! Plus, it's easily portable.

I might be planning on buying that in the future but adding more cymbals and stands (Matt Greiner setup but with extra A Custom EFX 20" and another Oriental Thrash 16" to my left), a new throne since I sit high, Axis Longboards, an extra floor tom, and a cowbell to boot!

Any thoughts?! :D

with that amount of money  :?

Bibili na lang ako ng super collector's edition na snare. or ng pinapangarap kong pearl reference kit.

but, to each his own.

para sakin, sulit yung price niya. Sa sound, at tsaka madaling madala sa mga gigs. Natawa ako dun sa last part ng video, yung tinry niyang buhatin. haha  :-D

expensive. hirap i-configure ng hardware, habang itinataas mo yung tom lalong lumalayo sa yo. get a regular kit. or kung gusto mo maliit, look for models from other brands na lang with regular hardware

Two things comes to my mind about the Yamaha Hipgig: K-ON and Senri Kawaguchi

This is what I liked best about the Hipgig
