Hey guys, I wanna start playing drums and I have limited space in my room and I want to keep it simple. I was thinking of purchasing a three piece kit for starters, would that be a good idea?

sayang di kayo umabot sa jb sale. kung brand new set gusto mo e,meron naman pasok sa budget niyo both stores. sa audiophile they have a discount if you pay cash(i think) sa jb meron namang discount,as for cymbals are concerned brand new k customs, nakasale ata ang  hybrid set ng k custom sa jb,around 40K tapos samahan mo na ng kudwig, pearl of gretsch drums dun, pasok na yun sa 80k budget.

That depends on the type of music you'll be playing. If ever, a ride (a crashable one at best) would be great kung wala ka pang sariling crash and you need something to keep time with as well. saka mo na isunod yung hats then huli na yung crashes.

My opinion, unahin mo ang Crash, sunod hihats tapos ride.

Any suggestions po for a good cymbal set for a beginner?

Below 20k sana for a crash ride saka hi-hat.

Malaki na pala ang budget mo bro! might as well get an Istanbul Set or bili ka na ng tingi tingi sa Classified dito :D

For the istanbul sets, you might wanna check out the Radiant or Sultan Series. I think pasok pa siya sa budget mo, and these are good sounding cymbals na sir :D

Best to listen to them both personally sir! para alam mo kung ano yung mas type mo :)

IMHO though, The WUHANS are usually Thrashier. The Stagg Classics are somewhat close to the A Zildjians/Sabian AA's

My first post here. I'm not a drummer, apologies for my ignorance.
A senior friend of mine in US is giving me (selling it for a very low giveaway price actually)  a set of drums and letting me choose one of the two sets as per photos below.
Am reluctant to ask for the specs, model, etc since nahihiya ako at Baka sa bilhin Nya choosy pa ko considering the low price, pero ang totoo choosy nga ako, maski sino naman mas gusto yung the best Kung my choices.
Can any drum expert here please identify the model and help me decide. Both set comes complete with hard wares and zildjans.
Here are the pictures though crappy with least description provided.

Ludwig Yr 1972, made in Germany, double tom, 24" ang bass drum.

Pearl Yr 1966, 22" bass drum, black remo quadrant

IMO test both drumsets and let your ear and feel be the verdict. For me Ludwig maybe its timeless classic and 24 bass drum.

ludwig. dont even think about it. everything about the drums look original.

o nga pala all ludwig drums from that period were made in america. there is no such thing as german made ludwigs.

pearls from 1962 are cheap entry level *thrash*
