Critic Room
« on: November 06, 2008, 10:52:01 PM »
In this thread, we post OUR OWN self produced indie songs/albums and let it be criticized by our friends here in PhilMusic.com

RULES

1. Try to be constructive brothers and sisters
2. Avoid personal criticism
3. Please actually listen first before typing your words of wisdom
4. You cannot post your songs without listening and posting a critic
5. Post only whole songs

for my part...

Did I just listen to a music genius?

Unless you would tell me that you just actually electrified A thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton.

Honestly, the sound is cool but bland and shallow, especially the delivery, did we already stop  the transgression or transfusion of sound from Alanis and Avril to Kitchie Nadal , Yeng Constantino & Zelle? or Amy Lee to Haley Williams? and the worst...Amy Winehouse to Miley Cyrus..(disgusting and disturbing)..ok, the newest OPM trend , KC Concepcion doing a parody of her ex-flame Rico Blanco.

where are the strength and volume of the song? it sounded predictable and flat.

Just my two cents. I hope you dont mind.

and since "critic room" ang nilagay mo sa thread, expect more negative comments at mga harass with constant criticism since "ciritic" ang title ng thread mo. :)

Na-late si Tam to react  immediately.  haha. pero wala naman sya disclaimer then that we have to be sanguine and charlatan as we judge the song now that it's taken as halohalo jingle.

llllllliiiiiiilllllll encumbered me for being more outrageously sardonic but i denounce any point to malign his work. just being honest.

i like the guitar solo. and all the guitar parts  :-)

parang may problem para sakin yung timing nung intro. pero konti lang. parang kailan ng bamboo but the second part of the intro is good.

overall? me likey  :-D
sana makatulong

i agree with the volume and strength  :-( walang dynamics

pronunciation is really a prob...tsk tsk, well ganun talaga pag inuna ang "looks" keysa talent pagdating sa music.

So far so good, but I suggest we set formal parameters for criticism here before this thread metamorphoses into a dissfest.

Amen.

Just because you're given leeway does not mean you should be vicious. Perhaps it should be a given that if you wish to participate in this thread, you should also post something of your own? It would be interesting to see how "Peace"-able people are if they have to be as vulnerable as tam_guitar, who did post his song.

Alhough masyado ng typical yung lyrics/topic para sakin (too mainstream and predictable for me), honestly, I did enjoy the music.  :-D
Oh well, that's just my opinion.
But overall, panalo!
