Mas tumatagal at matapang ang tunog for me.

Do Alice strings last? My former bandmate got a new set for a gig and the number 1 string broke while he was tuning. ^^;

Yikes! :?

Mariposa syempre.. made in Pinas. hehehe.

I've been using Light Top/Heavy Bottom strings eversince. Gauges: 10-13-17-32-42-52 (minsan 9's din) Why? Mas heavy kasi sakin ang tunog nya when it comes to riffs.. kasi makapal yung strings na  E A D.  then sa solo.. very comfortable sa G B E strings. I usually go for DR and D'Addario strings.

I use D'Addario EXP15 on my Oscar Schmidt (acoustic). Mahal, pero I must say, matagal. :-)
A little less than a year na rin 'tong strings ko, and it's only lately that it has darkened a bit. But then again, it's only used for an average of 1-2 hours per day, in an air-con room... then occassional gigs lang.

Friends, ok yung D'Addario XL. Ive tried slinkys pero light masyado for my playing.

Are you guys sure WD40 ok? Im using MC.

What: Snarling Dogs mixed light... .009 set G B E, .010 set on A D, .011 set on E

Why: they are relatively inexpensive and they do the job well  :-D

D'addario 10-52 light top heavy bottom. gusto ko yung feel nung 52's sa low E string. tight pag nag-chugga chugga riffs. tapos madali rin mag-pings.

DÁddario: 13s - for my strat to get a fat sound, sometimes I use 11's too.
John Pearse and Dean Markley Alchemy: 10-46 or 10-52 - they last long and sound good.
DÁddario 10-52 - they are my general use strings. I found 9's too light and these fit my fingers well.

wow 13's! I'd like to try that soon. But for now its EB Power Slinky for me, .11's on both my tele and strat. I really like the focused sound on bigger strings. It's eating up my frets and fingers but they sound the best for me

Have been using Ernie Ball Regular Slinky (10-46). Used to have Super Slinky (9-42). But Ernie Balls are so expensive here compared to D'Addario. I have a XL 9-42 on my Floyd(ed) Strat, does the job.

Will check out the Snarling Dogs because of its price.

D'Addario 9s on my tele, Ernie Ball 10s on my strat, and a set of Snarling Dogs for backup. For maintenance, glass cleaner does the job well.

Ive been using EB 9-42 super slinky. Sobrang tumatagal sya and for a lazy person like me, i like my strings soft and effortless for bends thus i prefer such. Currently, i am using PRS strings, same guage but it does not perform as good as the EB. Reason why i bought this strings is becuase its cheaper than EB. But the next time i restring, id buy EB again. With proper care, it can last for more than 6 mos.

Yes with proper care. Clean up with cloth and such or you use something more? :-)
