depende yan siguro sa outlook mo in life. when i see people better than me, which is very often, i get inspired to work harder. i don't get discouraged.
if you think you suck, negative thinking yun eh. it will neither help you as a guitarist nor will it help you as a person.
dapat positive ang pag-iisip natin. music isn't a sport anyway. if we see someone better than us, let's just enjoy it and learn from the experience.
i'm not saying we should deny our shortcomings. being realistic is also a good thing. it'll help us determine where we are and where we need or want to be as guitarists.
i prefer to look at the glass as half-full.
so if you see someone twice as good as you, you don't half-suck, you're half good! if you think this way, baka mag-stabilize pa blood pressure mo!

a little positive thinking never hurt anyone.

Before, there was no Youtube and life was harder for every guitarist. If you feel you suck because Youtube made you realize it, then learn from Youtube. It's there to teach you.

yeah, i think we all suck in one way or another.

pero, yun nga ginagawa ko na lang reference yung youtube. halimbawa meron ako di makuha na part ng song, naghahanap ako ng cover na maayos tapos yun na gagayahin ko. haha!

just use it to your advantage.

Music is more than some competition, no wonder why a lot of music these days were easily consumable, nothing different from junk foods.

No, I know I suck even before YouTube. But it made my belief firm that the majority of people are d!cks.
