sa classifieds mura lang, mas mura kapag used.. for brand new heads:

12" - 950.00
16" - 1,250.00
22" - 1,900.00 (assuming you have a 22" bass drum)

here's the link if you want to check other sizes and prices as well:
http://www.jbmusic.com.ph/product/details/remo-clear-pinstripe-drumheads
budget in buying appropriate reso heads. if by changing the batter heads alone satisfied ka na sa tunog, then by all means enjoy!

limited ang tones kung gagamitin specifically for snares ang powerstroke, coated man or clear since may tone control ring ito. maganda lang siya for deep drums like toms, BD etc.

Sir there are many choices for tom skins...For remo the usual ones are the pinstripes and emperors. Pinstripes have more punch but less sustain and overtones. It's somewhat the opposite for emperors...they have more sustain and overtones, and maybe more attack. The choice of skins really depends on the type of sound you want from your kit. The skins definitely affect the sound of the toms just like the type of wood the toms are made of.

For me proper tuning is more important than the brand name, and I'm speaking of the more popular ones. HTH  :-D

Anung sound ba gusto mo? At Anu ba snare mo?
Dependende din kasi bro, examples natin e May steel snare student ko na gusto maging warm at ayaw mag invest sa heads,Medyo mahirap because it's sa steel snare.
At Meron naman pinatono sakin Fernando wood piccolo niya na 6 lugs at gusto mag tunog Jeff porcaro. So start Tayo sa size, brand, kahoy ng snare mo then we would know what remedy we would do. :-D

May maple Fernando? Seryoso ? Check ko nga atc bukas.
Anyway crank it up para lumutong, pero sabi nga namin in bro Ralph,Dahan Dayan sa lugs,
You might consider doing some rimshot para lumutong para di mo na icrank up heads mo.
If you muffle it with o rings or some moongel or tissue it would sound dry na so mawawala na ang lutong niya so don't muffle that much, experiment Kung gaano kalaki ilalagay mo.i recommend muffling first with a small strip of tissue 1 inch by 1 inch then check. And ask someone to play for you and go far to check the sound of your snare,it might sound good on your ear near pero ang tapon niya sa audience e choked.hope this helps, btw cross tuning Gawin mo para even and tuning, and quarter turns lang,Kung pihit Ka lang ng pihit, more overtones would come out, some people are scared of tightening the resonant head, try this also. :-D

+1 on everything that bro harugrugrug said.

If sounds good to your ears then go,I feel like m drums are choked my I used that before so I sold mine kagad, pero it's good if you want to lessen some volume in your drums. :-D

And the bearing edge of your drum would be pointless if you put it,so mag o-rings Ka na lang
Or moongel,or tape and tissue mas control mo pay yung ring ng drums mo,compared sa internal rings. ^-^
