Black box in the middle is a placeholder for a Neunaber EXP, at yung Catalinbread V8 will be replaced by a Mooer Tender Octaver (pag nakahanap na ko).

Mas gusto ko yung pedalboard over the flyrig. Reasons:
1. Yung TC Nova Delay is more versatile than the Flyrig's delay section. TC has multi tap delay, subdivisions, 3 delay modes, presets, and a readout for delay time or bpm.
2. Tuner. Kahit na pwede kang mag-headstock tuner, mas gusto ko pa rin mag-pedal tuner for accuracy at para sigurado kang hindi mo maiiwan kung saan saan
3. I love the OCD (obviously)
4. If ever you decide to get more pedals or a bigger board, mas madali na buhay mo. Instead of working around the Flyrig or selling it

Hope this helps

Thank sir voidmain. Actually nagdadalawang isip ako, ung price rin ng flyrig ang maaavail ko lang cguro ung nova delay at isang od at isang tuner (kung may makikita ako na mas affordable sa classifieds). Kung may budget ako nag 15k below kaya ba? Whew hirap magbudget 🤔

15k? Why not go for nova repeater, korg pitchblack, mooer hustle drive, and joyo vintage od?

If you buy these second hand, you should have extra for cables, pedalboard, and a psu.

Quick question... Does anyone here have the keeley tone station or the mod workstation? Need feedback bros as I am contemplating adding one of them to my rig. Right now i have a crybaby>boss os-2>boss DD7. Thanks!

glasgow:

Tried both when I bought a Delay Workstation at Rockstore. The Tone Workstation is great! Very gnarly and open drives, and the Katana section gives more oomph when needed. Would have been perfect for me personally if there was an option to switch the boost to post, but that's a minor quibble. The Mod Workstation is very versatile, though I find the modulations quite underwhelming. However, decent tones can be dialed in, and to have drive/boost and 8 mods in a package that small is a no-brainer for the gigging musician. Both pedals are undoubtedly great value for money. :)

I'm building a pedalboard, tanong ko lang kung kelangan ba talaga ng compressor sa board kung may light overdrive naman ako na always-on? I'm going for a hillsong-esque tone.

depende yan sa taste mo bruh... dati may compresor din ako sa board. comp66 V2. eventually tinanggal ko din kasi nagiging clean boost na lang sya sakin den replaced it ng higher gain pedal. so ito na ngayon ung set up ko. soulfood for stage 1 drive, greenmile for 2nd stage then shredhead for tighter rock stage. may eq din ako to change the tone from darker chugs, to mids. it all depends on your taste.
you can also ask NTM kasi sya ung kilala kong magaling sa OD stacking.

Not a Fan of Compressor though but when I heard of Andy Timmon's tone using a Carl Martin Comp, I somehow got interested and Just waiting for its arrival.
For me it restores the dynamics of each note played and adds clarity to your tone. To add more info, Here's a link you can check and google na din bro for more info:

Hey bro wazzup. Sabi nga nila depende sayo yan kung need mo talaga compressor. pero if Hillsong-ish type gusto mo, they're using compressor quite often! Ako din may gamit na compressor kahit may Always-on ako na light Overdrive which is yung Timmy.
I suggest get a decent compressor. mas maaappreciate mo sya. Compressor with Blend knob mas ok yun like Barber Tone Press, or SP Compressor. Affordable naman din sila, ranging 5-6k used. :)

I'm currently using Keeley Compressor/Limiter GC2. Sobrang transparent nya, it doesn't affect yung base tone ko which is ayun hanap ko. Before I'm leaning towards sa Diamond Compressor, pero dito ko bumagsak. hehe. Subtle compressor will do naman lalo sa type ng music natin. Wag masyado squash yung setting ng comp, kasi na-lelessen yung dynamics mo. :)
May iba kasi na gumagamit ng compressor as clean boost, which I think di naman dapat ganun.

Tapos may 1st stage and 2nd stage gain ako, then a boost pedal. Ayun.. Hope this helps.

For me, mas madali mag sit sa mix yung chords ko if I am using a compressor. May subtle boost din kapag single notes yung tinutugtog. Nakaka miss tuloy mag comp.

And yup, go for a comp pedal with blend. Though I haven't tried it yet personally pero based sa mga napapakinggan kong demos, mas "transparent" yung tunog.

I actually do this and it's great for blues work, especially on single coils. Also good for getting back some of that gain in a high delay mix setting, or when you're using lots of reverb. Also great for those anemic coil-split tones. IMO there are really no rules in using effects, though there are tested suggestions.

salamat ulit sa mga replies. for starters try ko muna yung mooer yellow comp, which is claimed na clone ng diamon compressor (daw?) then upgrade ako kung pasok sa hinahanap ko.
