when i was just starting, i thought na pag may distortion ka e ok ka na...
tsaka akala ko yung tremolo bar ginagamit para "umirit" yung gitara,hehehe...

eto naman misconception ng mga bata ngayon:

learning the eight-finger tapping technique is way cooler than studying chord progressions...

misconception ko nung bata pa ako. na ang electric guitar ay gawa sa plastic at bakal.

Misconceptions:

1.) ang guitar pwede gawing bass
2.) mas mabilis = mas magaling
3.) mas maganda ang Set Neck compared sa bolt-on (stupid Gibson marketing)
4.) kung marunong ka mag gitara, maraming babae magkakagusto sayo *lol*

add:

-kailangan magsimula ka muna sa acoustic bago mag electric *lol*

THAT IT'S A CHEAP HOBBY. lol hell no!

Naalala ko tatay ko nung bata ako. Buti na lang daw gitara lang trip ko. Wag na lang daw ako mag basketball, football o kahit ano pang hobbies kasi mahal daw---laging bili daw ng rubbershoes etc.

Ngayon ansama ng tingin niya sa akin tuwing may bagong "maingay" sa bahay. haha

honestly nung high school ako.. i begged to have a dimebag guitar thinking i would sound and probably play exactly like dimebag himself.
