that's true, kaya lang anong point ng ginuguhit mo lalo pa't wala ka namang inspirasyon. I've seen Malang in action up close. The reason why he doesn't need inspiration is he has been inspired all these years. Pag bihasa ka na sa linya ng media na pinili mo, kahit nakapikit ka pa, kamay mo na lang ang gagalaw at makakagawa ka na ng isang modelong maganda. It might not have any meaning but still, its beautiful. In songwriting, not that I'm saying I'm an expert, but I think its linear with writing. In that genre I can say I have a bit of authority (a minute bit, hehe). You have to be inspired in order to write with meaning. Something that means to you. Unless otherwise you want to produce something for Britney Spears or Fergie

1. Always have a small notebook with you - in case me maisip ka na magandang lyrics habang nasa bus pauwi, nagaantay sa friend sa mall, pumipila sa atm, etc. Sulat mo kaagad bago pa mawala.
2. Buy a cellphone that has a capability of recording unlimited duration of audio - in case me maisip ka na magandang tono o riff sa gitara--Record mo kaagad.
3. Write what you feel--let your emotions be your guide.  I think LOVE is a favorite subject in most songs, it gives us the best of both worlds -- PAIN and HAPPINESS.
4. At ang pinaka-importante--avoid the temptation of copying somebody else's song.  Just make a song that you wanna to hear.  Others liking your song is just an added bonus.
