help with bypass switches

meron po akong isang pedal na nagkaroon ng problema na, pag on, nawawala yung guitar signal (umiilaw parin ang LED, walang problema sa cables, etc.) pero pag naka-off yung pedal, wala namang problema't dumadaan naman yung signal.

meron din akong isang pedal na minsan, nawawala din yung guitar signal pag on  (lalo na pag dinidiinan ko yung bypass switch). pero pag in-on ko ulit, bumabalik sa normal at nawawala ang problema.

nagsearch ako ng problema sa switches. sa tingin ko sa connection ng bypass switch ang problema.
meron po kayong masusuggest na makakapag repair?

Anong pedal yan? Minsan nasisira din yung mga 3PDT switch madali lang naman palitan.

bbe sonic stomp po yung natuluyang walang signal. yung tinotopak, voodoo lab trem.

same problem po sila na pag on, umiilaw yung LED pero no signal. yung voodoo lab trem, umaayos ulit pag in-on-off-on-off.

Assessment:

► 3PDT Switch or 3 pole 2 throw → let's focus on the 2 throw switching → one for bypass & one for the circuit → you said po na when switched to bypass, may signal (bypass signal) and when switched ON, LED will lit but no signal passing:

• either may problema sa switch (sira)
• or cold solder lang ang connection ng throw pins para sa circuit (poorly or no connection at all)
• or the something wrong with wire connecting the switch pins to the circuit (poorly or no connection)

► Circuitry - aside from the switch and/or connections concerning switches, There could also be a problem within the "circuit" like:

• Deteriorating/deteriorated Amplifiers like (IC, Solid States, Opamps, transistors) → which in the case of BBE Sonic Stomps are:
  • TL072 (dual opamp) → it was utilized as Preamps
  • JRC2150AD BBE (main chip) → it's a very rare/very hard to find chip made by Japan Radio Company but exclusively manufactured to BBE → "This is the worse-case scenario" SORRY! busted amplifier means the signals are un-amplified

I had the chance of handling this twice already and to my dismay it's the worse scenario main chip busted.. we even emailed BBE to allow us to purchase the JRC2150AD chip but sad to say their only remarks is for us to buy a new sonic stomp.. Reality Bites!

WOW! SOBRANG BS NUN!
mukhang pang patong ko nalang yung sonic stomp sa mga papel para di liparin. paper weight worth of 4.5k BS!!!!!!!!!!
