Yeah my custom LP have those Golden Age overwound pickups from Stewmac. They're smoking hot and compared to my other LP with a EMG 81 85 I think I will always prefer the Golden age. 4 years and the golden plated finish is still immaculate.

have you tried those open coil humbuckers? how are golden age pups compared to gfs?
