All 24.75'' scale length guitars will do fine with 10's for that nice balance between bendability and fatter sound

Pero seriously, subjective preference yan....try mo lahat ng combination para malaman mo yung ''swak'' sa 'yo

It's a personal choice actually, based on your preferred feel and playability. An electric guitar doesn't choose strings, or isnt picky with what set you put on.

Start with 10s, 09s are really popular too.

I agree. I'd say start with 10s. if you step your gauge down, that means easier bends and of course less tensed (soft) strings, but with less punch and fullness (IMO). If you step up, that means harder bends and more tensed (hard) strings, but with a lot more fullness and punch. It's personal preference as they've mentioned.
If there are encounters, there are partings as well

IMHO, heavier sets i.e. 12's and 11's are great for djent or riff based music. go thin gauge if you'll be doing lotsa bends. peronally i prefer 10's :D

I read somewhere that Les Paul (the guitarist, not the guitar) used to string his namesake with the first three strings of an 09 set, then the last three strings of a heavier set. He said it made bends easy, but kept the meaty tone of the bass side strings. But then again that's Les, and that's his preference.

i want to shift my string gauge from 10s to 9s. bends became a part of my playing arsenal. im more of a blues/rock and roll player. what i worry is the intonation and the string height after installation.

10s is the sweet spot for Les Pauls because of their shorter scale length
However, try to put 10s on 25.5 inch scale guitars like Ibanez or Fender, a lot would probably struggle with the string  tension (like me) haha

Depende sa tuning mo.

I use .10's on standard tuning, pwede ring .11's for a fatter tone.
