After almost a year and a half of waiting finally pulled the trigger on this...its my second Blackstar amp, after the HT-1R, Love the concept of this..totally fits my needs..less is more.. better and more usefull than those "Marshall Lifestyle" products which are overpriced!!

Bassy, and full sounding..love the loaded effects.. love the size...

Cons:
It has some faint hiss sometimes at certain settings (common cons based on web reviews)..

Overall Id give it a 9/10

ang naisip ko lang , ung sa inyo ba ay napuputol agad ung sound or bitin ung sustain ?
dko kasi alam kung sa gitara ko un or sa amp,,,

2nd amp ko kasi toh pero 1st amp ko na blackstar at with built in effects.
kaya hindi ko sure kung dahil sa digital sounding kaya naapektuhan ung sound...
confused lang heheh

May ID Core 10 ako dati and found the same "problem" that you  have regarding sustain that cuts out.

Apparently, hindi sya problem talaga. Naka "on"  lang by default yung built in noise gate nung amp. You need to download the Blackstar Insider software then connect niyo yung amp sa PC then turn off the noise gate via the software.

Ok rin kasi ang daming tone shaping na possible via the software tapos save na lang sa amp as presets.

feeling ko may built in na noise gate yung presets..yes alam ko yung nafefeel mo..haha same..same normal lang yan..try mo sa manual set up di yan bibitin..

by the way...ask ko naman, yung level/volume knob mo ba parang ang liit ng headroom...parang pag below yung first na line parang halos wala kang marining...after ka lang lumagpas ng first line tsaka magkaka acceptable sound.. pareho lang ba tayo?

Kailangan mo lang nung cable to connect your ID Core sa PC via USB. Ang ginamit ko ata noon ay yung cable ng charger ng PSP ng kapatid ko. Hehe.

Huling check ko parang 4k tapos 7k pag may kasamang extension cab. Nakakuha tropa ko sa SG though nasa 2k lang. I was looking for one kaso namahalan ako kaya I ended up getting a Marshall MS4 nalang haha. Kamusta volume bro?

nakita ko na sa  site.. 4650 yata  tama 3k-ish naman siya din dito.. ok yung volume malakas din! and decent sounding..pang harabas na jamming sa camping  or sa inuman..hehe good at sulit na product siya..
 in my opinion..walang sinabi yung mga mini marshall stacks in terms of tone..

I agree. If you spend a lot of time toying around with a baby amp i think it's worth the 4k investment talaga.

Hi all,

I just wanted to ask if ever you've ever bought Blackstar Amps from Lazada? I was looking at Ph prices and stumbled upon one, now ads even on my facebook page are all about Blackstar amps now. haha

I am looking for an ID Core 10 pr still choosing other options for a practice AMP. Currently all Lyric branches I've visited don't have them in stock (even the FLY). I haven't tried to call other branches yet though.

Thanks! Kaso wala pang difference sa sound kasi unloaded pa yan. Hence, "patungan". haha. Naghahanap pa ako ng 16ohms na V30

Oh! I see. Actually, I think mayrong impact sa bottom end whenever you raise your amp off the floor. Pero once loaded na yung cab mo that setup will definitely move a lot of air man.

I recently got this ID Core 10 V2 from Lyric. (The Sale announcement was late though, I should've gotten the V1 Red haha)

Thank you sir Ralph_Petrucci for the details regarding the changes. Hindi ko rin siya ma-compare sa V1 since this is my first for the ID Core series.

I am not sure if the code it had with the Presonus software is limited to one time installation only or is already unlocked if ever I logged on with an account.

Will be trying this weekend the presonus software, kailangan pala serial number at proof of purchase. Hopefully hindi limited to one installation lang yung nakita kong code included sa Amp.
