Guitar music is fading? Electronic music are all over every radio stations. How can we revive or save guitar music? Will the trend turn around?

That I agree! haha! But reselling will be harder, since newcomers to guitars will decline.

The guitar was put aside to make room for synths and sax solos back in the 80's but we all know what happened after that era, right? If I were you, I wouldn't loose sleep over it.  :wink:

siguro panahon talaga ngayon mga new artist tamad mag aral ng instrument... kaya auto-music na lang sila. tapos mga casual music listeners tamad na din makinig ng guitar music. pati producers siguro tamad na din mag record ng guitar kasi nga tamad sila. pag electronic pindot lang buo na yung kanta.

Just think of Daft Punk. They come and go. Struggle is real rin sa kanila nung nag start sila nung 80's. Sa recording company nga lang eh, yung mga artists, mas gusto pa rin nila yung natural sound kesa electronic sound. Sa drum recording halatang halata agad yung natural reverb kesa pag nag electronic ka. Walang dynamic effects, lahat pantay.

Yeah Guitar is dying.. But why are there so many new Pedals and new pedal Company? From very cheap to very expensive. . And parang every two month may release na bago hmmm. NAMM 2017 coming na naman.  :-D

That's maybe the reason I always feel sleepy when listening to top charts. Ang may dynamics lang ay ang vocals, minsan pati vocals lame na din pagkanta hehehe! iba talaga dynamics ng "REAL" musical instruments, especially "GUITAR"!

maybe they are releasing new ideas because old pedals don't sell much since guitar is fading. so maybe they make new pedals as a struggle to fight the dying guitar trends.
