Ako din lahat ng online games, ang iingay nila sa loob ng computer shop!!! Madalas na napakalutong pa kung magmura pinagtitinginan na sila ng mga ibang tao!!! Buwiset!!!

DOTA, d ko magets kung bakit ang daming nahuhumaling dyan. Can't understand why people spend too much time on a game that is based on a 10 year old engine.

Here's what I think.

a) Feeling ko talaga "Peer Pressure" ang dahilan kung bakit maraming naglalaro nito e. Kumbaga sa tropa kung d ka umiinom, out ka. Isipin mo, yung karamihan (hindi LAHAT) ng mga nagdoDOTA di naman talaga focused sa skwela at sa mga aralin pero pagdating sa DOTA, kabisado ang bawat SS, item na bibilhin tsaka mga heroes.

So napipilitan sila mag-aral na kung tutuusin e ayaw nila mag-aral. Did you sense the irony of it?

Nagegets ko pa ung Magic the Gathering e, may kamahalan nga lang ang libangan na 'to.

So kahit gusto ng mga tao maglaro ng ibang online o LAN games, dahil maraming "pa-cool" out there na nagloo-lookdown sa hindi nagDODOTA, napipilitan tuloy sila. May nakita pa nga ako tine-threat nya ang kasama nya kundi babatukan daw sya pag di naglaro.

b) Nakakainis din ung mga tao na feeling genius pag magaling sa DOTA. Parang ang dating e hulog sila ng langit at Diyos pag nadadaan sa mga internet cafe. Nanonoplaks ng mga ibang bata na nagkamali ng timing sa pag-gank or maling style ng pag-fafarm.

c) Isa pa, nakawitness na ako personally ng mga batang nagsuntukan dahil nagkapikunan sa DOTA. Sa DOTA kasi parang ang dami mo kelangan patunayan para respetuhin ka ng tao, wala na ung enjoyment na hinahanap mo sa video games. Pag bano ka, d ka pwede maglaro. Tapos tampulan ka pa ng tukso.

Guys d ako bitter DOTA player. I could have chosen DOTA as my main game and be good at it. Kaya lang, I don't get it. Don't get it at all.

My point pare. Sobra silang "pa-cool".

Di kasi makabili ng gaming rig e so they diss "real" games and make DOTA appear as a superior game. It's nothing but a mod! The game is messy, too IMBAlanced, and full of unnecessary characters.

That's why me and my gaming friends refrain from touching this piece of [gooey brown stuff], instead, we put our money in games that make real sense.

I think DOTA back then(as in way back then) was more fun.
The only reason I think some people play it because they and their peers enjoy it.
same with MMOs and a hell lot of multiplayer games.
I too played MMOs and enjoyed quite a bit...It'll just come to a point where you'll ask yourself,"what the f*** am I playing this for?!" cause there is just no end to it.

I think the pinoy DOTA community now is quite pathetic, were getting bad reps from other countries. If you read some forums online, you'll see how they hate some filipinos for ruining games(DOTA and sometimes DOTA2). The common thing they hate is that pinoys chat in tagalog even on international chat rooms and games and spam "aw" and specially "[grape]".They flame,they spam, and act like idiots. Very unwelcoming pa sa newbies ang pinoy DOTA community.

I still play the game from time to time. Its still fun....when people don't act like pricks.

Napagastos din ako ng malaki dati sa mga lintek na MMO na yan. Was an RF Online player before. Ngayon, Battlefield 3 nalang. Sarap ng online multiplayer.
