garage band for macbook

my sister gave me a macbook air, and there is a garage band software here. so as a newbie like me in this software, can you give me tips on how can i use this for guitar. any inputs will be appreciated and i will also learn and explore it on my own..

how do you use it in your music, jamming etc...? how do you plug your guitar there, etc..

First, you need an interface where you will plug your guitar.  Then, the interface will be plugged into one of the USB slots of your Macbook.

bro anong usb interface gamit mo? meron akong tascam us-100 dito na hindi ko ma-mount sa imac ko at macbook ko.  i checked the os ng mac ko at mac os x version 10.6.6 nakalagay.yung tascam us-100 ang system requirements niya mac os x 10.3.9 or later according sa manual.

do i have to downgrade my OS? thanks!

Ay ganon?  Meron nang Tascam sa Audiophile?  Hindi pa nila hawak ang brand na yan nung bumili ako.  Nag-order pa ako through Nelldenmusic.  Ayun, nagamit ko naman siguro 3 times.
