sigurado ka ditobro?

Yup, 100% positive.  I cleaned it myself.  :-)

Zildjian and Sabian's cast cymbals pretty much follow the same B20 formula.  I guess as long as the cleaner is formulated for B20 cast cymbals, it will work nicely.

applicable only to cymbals that are old and worn out..works good on traditional finishes..

things you need :
1 kilo dalanghita or dalandan--green one
strong running water
soap and soft sponge
dry clean cloth

procedure:
step 1:cut dalandan in half then in a circular motion rub it on your cymbal start from the top hole...observe while doing this..
step 2:rinse thoroughly with soap and water....kailangan marinse talaga mabuti kasi kung hindi may matitirang asim ng dalandan..
step 3: let it dry..apply zildjian cleaner its up to you...

Right, use gloves, the kind you buy sa hardware stores, it is very cheap. This way the cymbals won't get stained by our acidic sweat!

Lemon --- Effective Low-Cost Cymbal Cleaner
« Reply #343 on: October 08, 2009, 03:15:46 AM »
Decided to sell my crash cymbal recently...kaya lang merong mark yung top part ng cymbal dahil sa neoprene cymbal mutes na ginamit ko a few months ago. Ganun din yung hi hat ko. Didn't really bother to clean it when I discovered the stain dahil cosmetic lang naman problema. Pero since bebenta ko sinubukan ko linisin. ginawa kong guinea pig yung hihat ko since pareho lang condition. I tried tried a cymbal cleaner, no effect. I also tried applying acetone to a small portion of the affected area to see kung matatangal...same result. searched for other ways of cleaning. me nakita kong post about using lemons pang linis. I was hesistant at 1st..kung acetone nga hindi maalis yung dumi lemon pa? Pero swerte dahil meron lemon sa bahay. 2 lemons lang ginamit ko...cut in half...squeezed and collected the juice. yung lemon halves yung ginamit ko pang apply nung lemon juice. dinip ko yung isang half sa juice then ran it across the affected area. Iwan nyo lang yung lemon for 5 to 10 mins. then rinse with warm water. Just repeat the cycle kung hindi ka satisfied sa resulta.

Just add salt...
Kung gusto nyo naman i accelerate yung aging ng cymbal mo haluan mo ng non-iodized salt yung lemon juice (not sure kung puede din iodized). haluin mo then apply mo sa surface ng cymbal. Let it sit longer...yung iba ata isang araw bago alisin yung solution. You'll see results quickly...meron daw lalabas na green spots sa surface a few hours after application.
...instant patina. It should make your cymbal dry and dark. I'm just not sure kung same result sa lahat ng types ng metal  :-)

Ito yung before and after (available pa yan by the way hehe) --- both pics were taken only yesterday

watch your problem? ;p

baka kailangan iwan ng masmatagal yung lemon and salt to produce results in case yung patina yung habol mo talaga.

Lemon + baking soda worked wonders on my cast Saluda Splash and my XS20 Crash. Pero di gumana sa Paiste ko.

Ganun lang talaga, I guess. Experimentation until makuha. :-D
