yup sir roland td10 un. same price kasi.

i believe medyo malayo ang td10 dun sa medeli.

kung ok lahat, I would personally go with the td10. pwede upgrade firmware nugn td10 kung hidni ako nagkakamali. Mas marami pang features yon. Tapos sa pagkaka-alam ko eh medyo high end yang td10 (I believe yan yung pinalitan nung td12 which is a level lower than the td20 (which is their top of the line now).

pwede ka punta dun sa vdrums.com/forum and basa basa ka don about the td10. I think good deal na yang td10 for $30 assuming everything is working. Yung mga pads and hardware, magagawan ng paraan yan. Yung laman nung module ang importante.

I tried playing on the Medeli e-drums yesterday at TMS. Sad to say (and I'm just being honest), mas maganda pa rin talaga ang Roland e-drums. Sa construction and feel, sa sound, roland pa din talaga.

You mentioned about the expansion card (or additional sounds) of TD-10 , I suggest na wag ka na kumuha kung meron man. What you should try is Drum VST na lang like toontrack's SUPERIOR DRUMMER 2 and fxpansion's BFD. Ang layo ng samples nito compared to the Roland samples (or any other drums samples available).

My current setup is a Roland TD 3KW and Superior Drummer 2.

but not everyone can afford a roland e-drum kit, thats one of the reasons why medeli was brought in here on our local soil.....to give our pinoy drummers an alternative brand that is somehow cheaper but will not sacrifice quality

Ok pa rin ang Medeli DD 502 as an alternative to Roland TD3 and if you want to use it for silent practice. DD 506 may not be practical.

Anyway kanya kanya yan. I chose TD3SW for value for money.

Dun sa nakabili ng TD10, kung plano mo ibenta ng 30k din, PM mo ko  :-D

Hi Wikiman4,

to make better recordings, it would be best for you to use an external sound card to get the best quality.  these external sound cards connect to your laptop via USB or Firewire.  the built-in sound card in most laptops are generally mediocre in performance.  the best thing is these external sound cards usually come with software from Cubase, Ableton or the like, it would give you a world of flexibility and expansion for your creativity.

Most of these external sound cards have headphones out for your pre & post recording monitoring.

Hope this helps.

For simple recording, you'll be needing the following:

(2 pcs) mga 10-50 pesos lang yan each

(1 pc) mga 50-100 pesos lang yan

Medeli Module linout -> connect to RCA with RCA to Phono Adaptor -> 3.5mm jack deretso na sa line in ng laptop/PC

Gamit ka ng simple programs like sound forge...

Like forerunnermusic said, the better the sound card, the better quality you'll get.  Here's a sample of my recording using the setup above with my DD502.

http://www.imeem.com/people/Le0IrMG/music/DrzB_mr1/medeli_aux_inmp3/

Acoustic song yan na pinatungan ko ng drums.  Built in Realtek sound card lang gamit ko.

Rhanen,

the major difference between the DD-506 & DD-502 are:
  • DD-506 has Rimshot
  • DD-506 has Cymbal Choke on both cymbals

wala po bang rimshot yung DD502?

This has been planned but at the moment its not in the price point that we want to target.

But the do take note that the Trigger I/O sound module that is used by this Alessis model is available at TMS and may be used with any trigger system, weather it be a Medeli, a customized set or any trigger.  It also comes complete with BFD software

Wikiman,

regarding prices, I have to email you.  what is your email?

the USB port in the Sound module is just like any other USB perriferal device that is connected to a PC, its like the port in a printer.  a USB cable has different connectors at both ends.   Its typical.

About the USB,

Yes, Medeli makes for Simmons as well as 5 other brands in based in the US, Australia & the EU.  they have been in the business for over 20 years.  They are also one of the biggest contract manufacturers for keyboards & pianos which is a far more sophisticated device.

diba parang parehong pareho ng medeli to ?
