Good day po!
I recently acquired a G3X. Nakalagay sa manual may Supero Chorus (which is a Boss CH-1). However, nung hinanap ko na siya, wala sa mga available choices. I already updated it to firmware 2.10 pero ganun pa rin. Anyone na may ganitong issue rin?
I reviewed the user manual but can't find a Super Chorus. Below are the chorus effects modeled (found on pages 49-50):
66. Chorus
67. Detune
68. VintageCE (modeled from Boss CE-1)
69. StereoCho
70. Ensemble
dealt: faceless,fraudulentzodiac,verve,egbdf,Saturn/Return,bdc3,dk_ouano,gemboy,studiowan,Slingky,PLESIM,asti21,sidlead66,CIERRAE,ungas123,lippy,cocojam,jolam1431,putchazta_46,dannygatton,lynshumalmsteen,GslashG,atomo,uchihadarwin,mzik_man,Diamond_Don&etc

Thanks for all the responses. I appreciate it. :)
Nakita ko nga rin, I was looking on the Zoom website's list of stompboxes, not the physical manual itself. May bad. :D

What's up! I own a G1X right now, but I'm looking to upgrade haha. I've been hearing some good things about the G3X but the G5 looks promising too. Any user feedback from either one of those pedals?

those pedals are great, the G5 has lot of features and effects, and loaded with high gain amps, though I don't even use the tube booster, one of G5's main features, but for me it is tone suck. Overall, quality over price, it's a wise buy.

Zoom G5 tube booster is transparent booster. You can leave it on all the time for more tube sounding feel.

I don't know, so does it mean my tube booster is defective or the tube itself? when I turn it on I experience excessive pumping and clipping, and added mud frequencies(around 300-500Hz)  :?

I tested it either on clean or high gain and it sound unpleasant for me. Should I replace the 12AX7 tube on it?

^^ the tube is possibly defective. You may want  to replace it. I didnt bother yet changing the stock tube since it still does the work.

Btw i find the tube booster works better in headphones and direct to xlr, than plugged to a guitar amp.

Thanks sirs! Kaso, does the tube require as much maintenance as an actual tube amp would? How long does it last before it gives out? Also if I were to head to a shop, what price would I be looking at? Thanks!

In my case, maingat ako sa gamit so i think the tube may last. unless siguro
lemon tube/unit ang nakuha mo.

I watched GODFLESH yesterday. And if you are familiar with their sound, they have one of the heaviest rhythm sound among their peers. He also plays with delays and baritone pitch shifting. I thought all his sound came from his Marshall full stack.

But he just uses a ZOOM G1X straight to the efx return of the amp. Damn impressive.

Sobrang bigat. Bumabayo.

I know that. That's what I do to. I was just surprised he was using an old Zoom model to get that heavy sound. I know that the tube poweramp helps that too plus the celestions on the stack. But...ZOOOM!!! Most of his peers use axe fx or line6.

mga sir ask ko lang, kaya ba ng g5/g3 mag cut through the mix using stagg 60gar amp? nagkaron nako dati ng g5 naibenta ko na pero di ko nasubukan sa live setup, im using nux mg100 pero medyo lubog sya pag nagsabayan na lahat ng instruments, how about g5/g3 in live setup using stagg 60gar amp?

I own a G3 and I can say na kaya naman mag cut through the mix ng G5/G3 and even ng Nux Mg100 din siguro. Pero yung Stagg 60gar siguro yung problema kaya di ka nag cut through the mix.

i also use stagg ga60r in our church. Try to boost its mid eq a little bit para di ka lumubog sa mix.

Ditch the amp and go direct to PA(If you're using a nux its advisable to get a good DI box) if you feel it lacks the power to cut through,or mic it out if you want to preserve the amp's characteristic along the wholeness of your tone. You could've went direct to the PA system with the G5's balanced XLR output then just have your sound guy level everything for you. I don't know what you mean with "Nagsabayan na lahat nang instruments"  but if that involves show-boating definitely you won't cut through if you have a lesser ego to boot. : :-D I don't know how the Nux play out on a live situation but I can swear that the G5 will not fail you, tone(a very touchy subject I don't want to dive into) wise; you can dial up some sweet sounding effects from it! take for example the zakk wylde preset(nalimutan ko lang yung preset number) you can use it as a basis for your lead tone, tweak mo lang nang unti depending on your needs and also the tube booster is a big help if you really want to kick out the mix and conquer everyone's ears(exaggeration)  just try to experiment and take note of the tones that does not make your audience cringe. cheers!
