LOCAL telecom experts have expressed their strong opposition to a joint venture between San Miguel Corp. (SMC) and Telstra, an Australian firm, saying that it will narrow the shared bandwidth on radio frequencies and may result in another anomalous deal in the telecommunications industry.

Sus, takot lang yung duopoly (PLDT and Globe) na may makapasok na isa pang service provider. If indeed this Telstra and SMC deal can really provide a much faster internet speed at a much reasonable price, bagsak yang mga inefficient at mababagal na local telcos na yan.

^laking pera ng ilalabas nila para ma-update systems nila. by the time na ma-meet nila yung new standards na na-set ng bagong player, ubos na clientbase nila. mapipilitan silang makipag compete at low, low prices.
