CO1 is sensitive to handling noise. AT2020 puro puri mababasa mo jan.
3 pro studio na rin napupuntahan kong puro AT2020 ang gamit nila despite having access to pricier mics like rodes and Neumann's

oh well, tread lightly nalang siguro mah men.

Mackie CR3 speakers. For tracking purposes lang kapag recording since it is a pair of multimedia speakers. Sa in-ear at headphones ako nagmimix.

^ang mamahal nico no? Haha nagulat ako. Ngayon lang ako tumingin ng ganito eh.

Paps boxedking nakita ko nga sa net yang cr3 and 4 medyo affordable compared sa rokit and bx5. Malayo ba tunog nila? Pero ginagamit mo din sila as reference from time to time kapag nagmimix? Hehe thanks.

totoo dre. ang mahal.
di ko masasagot yang sa monitor speakers. siguro si boxedking kasi ilang taon na yan sa home recording. sa headphones maraming decent selection na mura. you can go Audio technica, pioneer, Sony, marshall etc etc. Basta it suits your ears. Ako I prefer bass-ish/mid equalization sa headphones and earphones. IMO, it sounds pale pag hindi ganito ang headphones or earphones mo.

Guys quick survey, anong gamit niyong studio monitors and bakit?

First pair of monitors ko ay Samson Resolv SE6. Served me for a good time but had to let it go kasi lumipat ako to a smaller space and I found the monitors too big.

After exactly one day, dumating yung inorder kong JBL LSR305.

Long story short, kinuha ko pa rin yung JBL and I got to audition both KRK and JBL with my equipment. Noticeable yung difference nila sa tunog, clarity and bass response. Mas clear yung JBL with a more focused bass. Yung KRK kasi parang medyo boomy or loose yung bass. I ended up selling the KRK pair to a friend after a few months.

JBL LSR 305 gamit ko ngayon. Still very satisfied. But I'm thinking of adding a sub. Hahaha.

Hahaha oo nga ralph. Salamat salamat guys!

Actually with my online "research" yung JBL LS305 yung pinakatrip ko. Ang naexperience ko dati in person eh rokit 5 and 8 I think, and BX5a.

Anyway inooffer sakin yung BX5a na nabanggit ko sa taas sa presyong kaibigan, might as well try it na as pansamantagal monitors haha.

Okay lang yang BX5a as a pair to get you into the studio monitor setup. Magastos rin kasi ang studio monitors if you really want to invest in high end ones. Even the LSR 305s are considered entry level or bang for the buck, pagdating sa recording industry.

1.) Studio Monitors
     - I am using KRK Rokit 5 G3. Nabasa ko ibang reviews online na nakakalunod daw ang bass ng monitor na to so baka pwedeng ito yung dahilan.

2.) Room Acoustics

Please let me know kung ano pa naiisip niyo possible reason dito.

You may checkout my room and my work at my facebook page. Just search for "Megatone Room".

+1 +1 +1. chino as always, with the golden words of advice. same thoughts ako. good starting point yung Maudio BX5a. and agree din ako na Samson was good [gooey brown stuff] before nila I discontinue at palitan nung Bluetooth Speakers model hahaha

gamit ka reference track and compare mo yung mixes mo sa reference track using your studio monitor saka mo tweak using eq. Yung mga professional mixes kahit saan playback system maganda tunog. pag na-compare mo sya malalaman mo saang freg nag kulang o sumobra. compare mo din using a crappy speaker then tweak uli.

same practice. I mix using headphones, then switch to multimedia speakers for stereo imagery, and then playback using a cellphone speaker, a Bluetooth speaker, car speakers. dapat sa lahat okay naman.

and so far, may problema ako sa panning HAHAHAHA

to add, yes reference your tracks to those commercially mastered tracks and use a spectrum analyzer para alam mo kung saan ka nag kukulang
at saan sumusobra.

pero sympre mas ok pa rin yung marereference mo sya in different playback system to ensure na effective yung mga changes with the reference track.

sa spectrum kasi (i use voxengo elephant) you can see kung saan ka nagkukulang lalo na pag nacompare mo na sa reference track mo.
let's say nasa 60-80db yung dapat iboost pero dun sa mix mo e flat yung 60-80db mo, then you look for those sound na pwede mo iboost sa mix mo (bass guitar probably)

to keep it short, ok rin naman yung rekta agad sa different playback system like hifi speakers, headphones etc pero you can save time kung may reference track ka kasi kita mo agad kung saan ka nag kukulang or sumusobra :)

I have another question though, pag nag lalagay ba kayo high gain distortion effect tapos sinasaksak niyo sa audio interface may buzz din po ba kayong naririnig?

If yes, anong ginagawa niyo para mawala yung ingay?
