I think i had more than 50 guitars but my first instrument was actually a Mandolin. I was part of the school rondalla when i was in prep school. I switched to Violin in grade school till i got my first guitar in grade six. It was a Martin that I got from my uncle. My first electric guitar was a Red Fender Stratocaster (USA) also given by my uncle(us navy). I was very young then and I did not know the value. I traded it for a bicycle. It took a while before i got my 2nd electric guitar. It was a Maya Start (MIJ). I friend borrowed it a long time ago but he said that he still has it the last time I saw him.

I started collecting guitars back in 1985. A lot of them I don't have anymore but I have at least 24 in my room now. Most of them are Ibanezs' (RG550, RG570, RG2550, RG2570, RG 350, RG270, RGT42FM, and S540) Yamaha (2 Classical Guitars, 2 RGX A2, and 1 Drop 6) Fender (1 American Strat and 1 American Deluxe Strat) Gibson (Les Paul Standard and Les Paul Custom) Schecter (Synyster Custom) Slivertone (Paul Stanley Apocalypse 1) Lucero (Thin Line Classical Guitar) Stagg (Thin Line Classical Cuitar) Epihone (Les Paul Ultra and Les Paul Ultra 2) and lastly the Martin acoustic guitar ( I still have it after all these years)

hmm...let me try to recall...

- a secondhand black Aria Pro guitar back when i was in high school. body was similar to a Gibson-type. i cannot recall the exact model because it's been long ago and it was just given to me by my uncle. after having it with me for days, i returned it agad to him because it was too heavy for me.
- my tito exchanged this for a brand new red RJ Rokker stratocaster a few weeks after. from what i know, nung time na yun, RJ Rokker guitars were made in Korea. it was a lightweight guitar, mas bagay sa akin. used it during our church's Battle of the Bands where i played rhythm guitar. had it with me for about two or three years. i gave it to my tito when i found myself not having time anymore to do music.
- when i was working already, i borrowed a beat-up red Gibson SG from my tito. am not sure if it was original or what, but it did look like an SG and sounded like one. used it for a company gig. unfortunately, i left it in the office rehearsal room and never got it back again because i since resigned from the company. no one know where it is now sayang, i could have kept it and restored it.
- in 2008, i borrowed my dad's bluegreen Fender Precision bass MIM with DiMarzio pickups for a company gig, and when i was starting to like it, i found out he was already able to find a buyer for it
- in Dec 2008, i bought a Dean Edge 1 bass guitar which was my first bass guitar. bought from my tito new. used it for a year during two company gigs. sold it here on PM to upgrade.
- a Yamaha C80 acoustic guitar, my very own acoustic as i always borrowed my dad's guitars in the past.
- in Dec 2009, i bought a brand new vintage white Fender Precision bass. used it for one gig pa lang, but looking forward to using it more this year.
- a Fender Telecaster MIJ bought from a friend just the other day. wanted to have both a bass and electric guitar handy so i could play whatever.

yeah,its pretty much a shred neck,can't fix it even if you put higher string gauges. Now i understand why they put thicker necks on some of the J customs.  

kinda want to try the ultra neck that came with RGT3120

6. 50th anniversary strat, eto mahal na mahal ko ito...hehehe salamat po sa nagbenta sa akin:O)
