pumunta ako kagabi sa place nya OK dami nyang guitara. We drank a lot as well and played some chords, cranked his amp, plugged some pedals and pissed the neighbors off. He had a lot of tokai strats, 2 fender 80s called THE STRAT(this guitars are HEAVY :shock: ) He had a very nice 12 string Taylor 855 with the cutaway. Lots of glorious junk bits like tuners and bolts and rare fender gold plated knobs. He got it all off ebay for a good price. Here are the pics....enjoy 8) [i

the first one is a block of brazilian rosewood by the way. I fell in love with the last tele on the pics. An mij tokai breezy sound. Im pestering him to part with it 8)

wow! ang ganda ng mga strats - i love the danelectro sparkle the most. i've been looking for a Gretsch sparkle jet for GAS now and then but only the black ones and platinum ones are always around the guitar stores:(

yup thats a 12string na korean. Cheap but sounds and plays like a million bucks 8)

oo nga eh no? sayang yung kahoy, hehe. mashado ata dense ang rosewood para gawing body ng electric eh, hehe. baka ang labas eh mashadong manipis ang tunog, ika nga ng mga kano, "tinny" hahaha.

hayy, mr. perf, may question ako. pwede ba basta pukpukin ang fret? kasi medyo naka-angat yung isang fret ko sa bass side, particularly the 3rd fret, medyo naka-angat sha. so ang nangyayari, nagbu-buzz ang F# note ko sa 6th string. pwede ba basta pukpukin yun?

Yung tinniness ng electric guitar, nasa klase ng pickup yun. Meron na rin namang all rosewood guitar (di nga lang Brazilian). Most famous example yung rosewood telecaster na gamit ni George Harrison sa "Let it Be" film ng Beatles

Pwede mo pukpukin...pero sigurado ka bang dun galing ang buzz? Tsaka bakit umangat yung nag-iisang fret lang na yon?

Chasing hammer = parang ball peen hammer, flat yung mukha. Mas advisable yung hammer na hard plastic ang ulo, matigas syang pamukpok pero mas malambot sya kesa fretwire. That way hindi mabibingot ang frets.

Hindi rin gentle ang pagpukpok ng frets, kung tatapikin mo lang, hindi gagalaw yan. Kung gumagalaw sa tapik tapik lang, ibig sabihin maluwag ang fret slots.

Manood ka ng fretting job.... hehe mas nasasaktan pa yung may ari ng gitara kesa gitara mismo.

ahh cool.

ang itim nyang gitarang yan ah, hehe. pero tancha ko ambigat nyan, hehe.

yup, sure ako na yung 3rd fret yung buzz, pag sinisilip kasi obvious na naka-angat sha from the others. and may konting space sha from the fretboard compared to the other frets. kung kaya ko lang picturan sana eh sarap sana kunan, hehe.

yup, pwede ko dalhin kay arie, pero balak ko sana dalhin sa kanya pag papakabit ko na yung pickup na papabili ko sa states. para install sabay ayos na rin. it's an acoustic guitar by the way. a japanese made 000 size guitar.

grabe mr. perf, pangarap ko din makabuo ng sarili kong gitara. buti ka pa, tapos na, hehe.

he doesnt make guitars but gets someone to do it for him. And he just buys the wood kasi trip lang nya.

aha! ive been wanting a Tokai Tele for a long long time...hay! wala ba nagbebenta nito sa pinas? I remember nung early 90's nagbebenta ng tokai's ang RJ, wala na ba now?

solid rosewood bodies are okay... supposedly provides lots of sustain and full tones.  i have one coming soon (abangan ang latest biktima ng gas!)... i'll let you know how it sounds.
