Stratman1, I'm actually gassin on a Traynor YCV50 Blue that someone's sellin here in my area for $550CDN. One of the main reasons why I decided to upgrade the Classic 30.

To "DIVERT" my focus and save a bit of money hahahahaha. I actually listened to Phil's soundclick and I know someone from the Canadian guitar forum who's been preaching about the Carvins. That amp is great!

Hey TransAm, which Samson do you have? I have the Airline for guitar and am not to happy with it. I can't get it to play clean and makes my sound "brittle" so I'm shopping around for something to replace it. Something more transparent. I like the plug-in transmitter though. How's the AKG?

I used to have the Airlines,..it's gone through a lot of gigs and practice.....for the price i paid for?? It was worth it.But it was time to check out the highly regarded AKG-Pro.....I've read nothing but praises about them.I think it's a WINNER brother.Plus it sounds wicked on my Traynor YCV-80.Its got the most natural bypass sound youd get without dissapation.

Yeah, its my main guitar nowadays. Can't seem to keep myself from using it. I'm happy with the pups so I have not replaced it. Hey, when it comes to P90s BlueBuddah is the expert!

I think he also has Lollars in his Singlecut SE.

Yeah. Carvins are not bad at all. Underrated amps. Sounds great for the price.

As far as wireless... i tried the plus-in transmitter before. Didn't really have a good experince with the AKGs. Don't know why? Maybe it's just me, hehe. I do like the old Shure TN4 system, though. Not a plug-in transmitter unit but the most transparent system i've used so far for my budget range. I tried it out in GC thoroughly by A/B-ing it straight to an amp. very clear sound. Didn't really notice any sound changes with the clean. I think they're discontinued already but they have something better in the market now, i bet. I still have that unit and use it evey now and then.

I can make that thing sound and look,maybe feel like a '52 ReIssue ButterScotch Tele......even tint the neck,relic it too.?

I've done this to my nephews '94 MIM Frost Red Tele....It has become his numero UNO axe for the last 5 years or so...

Thats the thing these days?? You dont have to buy the most expensive axe,as long as you know what you like.
