Kala ko dati kelangan ng maraming effects para magkaron ng magandang tone, yun pala kahit cheap lang ang gitara at may magandang amp ok na.

when i first got a Boss DS2, laging todo gain!

i started playing guitar since i was 12 years old but mga 16 years old na ako nung gumamit ako pick. naisip ko noon ok naman fingers lang, then i heard vai, satch, etc.

i thought all electric guitars are all the same and they only differ in bodies.

nung una ako makahawak ng electic guitar hinahanap ko kung saan yung saksakan ng power cord kasi nga "electric". akala ko tumutunog sya kapag nakasaksak sa 220 outlet...tsk tsk. buti buhay pa ako..

my dumb moments = putting L.e.d.s under the pickup ring..., putting a single coil pickup in a nylon spanish guitar..,thought i could add more gain to a cheapo humbucker by tapping a 9Volt battery in the signal path..another is using a pair of headphones plugged in the guitars output jack

the last is: Tabs and Song Hits magazines are 100% accurate..lol

nung pinag adlib ako sa isang gig.. di pa ako marunung nun ng mga technique.. ang alam ko lng puro bend and a 1 pentatonic scale.. ung minor penta.. hahaha imagine nyu na lng na puro bend.. somehow me harmonics na nachambahan (di ko pa alam panu napalabas ung ganung tunog - i really don't know how to do harmonics back then) pro lakas ng loob ko tinuloy ko pa din eh.. akala ko dati, pag malupit yung korte ng gitara (yung parang BC RICH) malupit din ang tunog.

galit pa ako sa power chords dati, kala ko kasi kaartehan lang yun.

i once put a capo sa 5th fret, then nag chords ako sa lower frets. how nice. nagtataka ako kung bakit di nagiiba yung tunog.

i was about to try that before.. gusto ko kasi umiilaw sa ilalim, for show.. it would be a bit useless though for daytime jamming..

that's why i don't buy song hits.. 
most often than not, playing the song by ear gives you a better chance of getting the chords right..

kala ko sa gitara kailangan mahigpit ang Peg kapag bago..Inikot ko yung tuning Peg ng mahigpit gamit ang pliers at yun.Naputol ang tuning Peg at nag crack ang headstock

Dati panay ang GAS ko ng mga distortion pedals to get a specific tone..
Then I realized na AMP pala ang solution! (so I end up selling them.. tsk! sayang lang pera wew!  )

So. ngaun Im investing in a nice decent amp!

1. Amp settings: Treble/Mid/Bass/Gain lahat naka-max sa 10!

2. Guitar: Volume & Tone knobs... maxed out at 10 / Bridge pickup palagi ang gamit.

3. FX settings: All knobs turned to 10... maximum!

Also I remember, I had a phase where I detuned my guitar 2 1/2 steps down to B... using .09 gauge strings with super low action!

Dati din akala ko lahat ng guitar na hindi naka-Floyd Rose walang kwenta hahaha.

When I was young I had a locally made custom electric guitar. I thought it was the best guitar in the world.  I even preferred playing it live when my brother actually had les pauls and strats at home. 

It was converted into firewood when I realized it was crap.
