(multi fx users) manual mode vs patch mode!

dear forumites
here's my ideas:

manual mode - having like an analog,stompboxes pedalboard feel
patch mode - change of sounds in an instant for just one step, but kadalasan, may delay ng konti(break)
if you know what i mean, it's really annoying

Same lang. just think of it why large multi fx have many assigned footswitch. pero kung nakukulangan ka sa footswitch mo bili ka or diy ng midi assigned footswitches.

yun na nga poh ehh

i have my set of good clean tone, dirt and for my solo in a single patch
but for some of our covers, i need to switch a bank for my synth sound
grabeh hassle itoh
lahat ng footswitches ko my mga purposes rin
so it means i need to sacrifice one of it just for assigning the manual/patch mode
 
i cant still buy an external footswitch ehh!
