Hi mga pogi..

Nag resign ako 8 months ago sa trabaho ko. Dahil sa oras.
For 5 years.. 4pm to 1am sched ko. Fixed.. Naging bad habit ko ang pag tulog ng 5am.. Kasi nakaka uwi ako ng 2.30am tas free time ko til 5am.
Now.. 3 months after ko mag resign.. Nabago naman sleeping pattern ko. Ang problema.. Almost 3 months lang din tinagal..
Ngayon back to 4pm to 5am..
So, do you guys suggest medication?
Ayoko sana pero kung yun lang paraan.. Whyt not.
D nabumuubra mga ginagawa ko dati.. Kahit overused ang katawan at walang tulog to match up the time needed wala din.

Ang goal mo ba ser e bumalik sa normal na tulog? Gising sa umaga tulog sa gabi?

Nagkagnyan din ako. 4 years straight na panggabi, tpos biglang resign. Di ako makatulog sa gabi. Umaga na ako nakakatulog. Well, naging solution ko, everytime na mag attempt ako matulog sa gabi, or incase na nakatulog nga ako pero magigising din ako ng midnight, pagkain lang tapos yosi ng konti (kung nagyoyosi ka) tapos books (kahit ayaw na ayaw ko) para lang mapagod ung mata ko at bumalik ulit sa pagtulog. 8-10pm, attempting na makatulog. If successful, magigising ako ng 1am or 3am. Swerte na ung 4am. Pagkain lang, anything na mabubusog ako, then smoke ng isa, tapos balik sa kama, basa ng kahit anong pwedeng basahin (books, magazine, etc) hanggang mapagod ang mata.

bro trust me.. sinubukan ko na din yung ganyang routine..
Even the infero purgatorio at paradiso tinapos ko ulit.. Sa tagal ng pag hahangad kong umaga gising gabi tulog.
Same tayo nagigising ako ngnwala sa oras. Ang problema.. Kahit anung gawin ko d ako maka tulog.
Nag workout, nag basa nagbpagod.. Nung una gumagana.. Dumating sa point na alak inumin ko alaws na.
Not unless lungangoy talaga..
Siguro dahil din sa stress at other mental factor kaya ako ganito

I suggest mag consult muna kayo sa doctor. Para atleast proper medication ang maibigay.

BTW, have you tried smoking weed as an alternative? Walang halong joke.

Oo sir. Yun nga lang, kasama parin sya sa dangerous drugs ng PDEA kahit hindi naman talaga sya considered as dangerous kasi hindi naman sya addictive. I smoke weed honestly, and my wife also. We stop smoking it anytime we want. Unlike ng yosi or kung anong drugs na umuusok or intinuturok na hanggat hindi ka nauubusan ng pera e hindi ka titigil.

Di ako panggabi pero gin(Ginebra) almost always gives me a deep sleep. Kalahati lang ng shot glass before deciding to sleep, mga 25 ml. yun. Di ako manginginom kaya siguro effective. Whiskey have the same effect on me, pero yung brandy iba, nakaka hyper. I just started nung ginamit ko yung gin as medication for bad cold. Napapansin ko din I have a better respiration/breathing sa umaga pag na inom ng gin.

Nga pala Id rather have a 4-6 hrs of deep sleep kesa 8hrs na pa disturbed o putol-putol.

Eto ang problema ko,

Ang sleeping pattern ko, parang sine wave

Minsan kaya ko matulog at magising ng 3hrs of sleep, minsan 4 hrs.
At minsan 12-14 hours of sleep.

Pinakamatindi ko, Natulog ako ng 3PM, nagising ako ng 5AM, straight. Hindi lasing, hindi rin may sakit, pagod lang talaga  :-D

medicine related, surefire sleep na over the counter would be Diphenhydramine. sureball yan groggy ka. maghahanap ka ng kama.

Naalala ko dati, may niresetta sakin ung doctor ko sa kidney, ang side effect nya, pampatulog in 30 mins.
Sinubukan ko pigilan, nahilo lang ako.

It started nung sinunod ko yung payo mo about gin and kalamansi para sa bad colds. I was surprised walang hangover, kahit isang baso ininum ko (i hate hangovers, really) and I had a good night and better morning after that. Since then may stock nako palagi ng kwatro kantos. At reduced amount half full shot glass ok nako. Nakasubok narin ako dati ng sleeping support like the Solgar Sweetest Dreams and Melatonin, pero mas oks ako sa gin and whiskey din pala. haha

DIBA PAPS! sobrang game changer eh! it might not taste great, but the effects are... somewhat impressive. =))

ang wine, kahit mababa ang alcohol content niya, antok trip talaga ako. yan na ang new favorite drink ko eh. dagdag pa na I like good cheeses :D

ito bang cabernet eh red wine in general o isang klase pa to? basta red wine, red wine na sakin eh haha.

yung dalawang bosses namin na pumunta dito recently may pinuntahan dito sa may greenbelt area. maliit lang daw parang 4 tables nga lang. they saw a sign outside that says 2.5k package for wine tasting so they went in and drank.

they ended up getting pissed drunk...with a 14k bill  :lol: :lol: :lol:

Epektib nga sya na pampatulog, ung nanay ko napasarap ang tulog nang makainom ng isang basong Cabernet, straight.
Nahilo hilo ng konte, paglabas namin ng restaurant, inalalayan namin hanggang sa makasakay ng kotse. Ayun, borlogs
Sarap daw ng tulog nya, pero d na raw sya iinom ng wine bottoms up. Senglot eh  :-D

Sakin naman, ang pampaantok ko, maligo ng mainit na tubig, sure ball yan, madaling magpaantok ung sobrang taas ng temp ng katawan, tapos bigla na lang papasok sa isang room na mababa ang temp.

natry nyo na ba sir i set yung room sa medyo madilim pero relaxing na set up, tapos malamig? yung parang sa spa? tas yung scent ng katulad sa spa eh galling lang sa oil na nilalagay ko sa talampakan ko, Sakin effective siya kasi ang sarap humiga kapag ganun yung tutulugan mo. pagkahiga, konting tv tas tulog na agad.  :-D

Try different amounts of that gin and find that optimun level tha'll give you a deep sleep. there are stages of sleep pero you'll know you had a deep sleep when you have a clear mind, content and not feeling sluggish the next day despite sleeping below the recommended time. Tingin ko people who prefers to drink gin are people who doesn't like the aftertaste of alcohol.

nice nice, I bought a bottle of wine, but I just take sips..dapat yata tunggain..para wasak agad..hehe...Ill give gin a try..

yes, I sort of know that REM, deep sleep phase...I seldom get it these days, kung nakukuha ko naman, biglang magaalarm clock na..damn..haha I also need to put my phone and tablets out side the bedroom..napapasarap manuod ng mga guitar at gear videos magdamag eh..

btw ive also tried sleep inducing apps(itouch and android). yung mga white noise at soundwaves na may nahihit na certain part ng brain to increase production of certain hormones, putting you in the condition na nakakaantok.

it worked for me. just make sure that youre lying flat in bed with the correct earplugs inserted in your ears(left in left ear, right in right) - this really helped kasi magkaiba yung sounds na pino-produce ng magkabilang channels.

problema eh i always get this feeling na parang akong dahon na nahulog sa puno. yung feeling na hinehele ako, ganun. nakakalula. tapos nagigising ako with a strong jerk. nayugyog ko yung double deck bed sa sleeping quarters ng office dati dahil dito. nagising yung nasa ilalim na bunk akala daw bumigay yung kama haha!

but yea, its worth a try.

yung sa nagsabing madilim na room na malamig, patugtog kayo ng white noise apps - yung mga raindrops, strong winds na noise. nakakaantok din.

Si misis masayahin lagi at outlook nya sa buhay is always  be happy. Yung anak nya na panganay around 23 yo ganun din. Simple lang silang dalawa masaya na sa mga facebook feeds sa gabi sa kama. On their day offs they are happy doing nothing and just rest for the coming work week.

Once they hit the pillow.......gone. Done. La la land mode. Zzzzz Country.

I envy them.

Ako yung taong swimming in information, wanna do this, wanna do that, wish could do this, do that. Treating every day off like  a big event but in reality mauuwi lang sa bibili ng copy blu ray movies then pffft off to work the next day. I'm mister wake up at 630 am on a Saturday take the kid to the swimming pool then get to work by 12 pm and wonder why I'm so cranky with fxxing everybody at home just wasting their free time. I'm coming to terms with it then just accepting the fact that my life is.....mundane.

Mundane equals sleep.

pag weekdays sarap magsleep at magextend pa kaso need pumasok..pag weekends or holidays aga gumising kasi parang dami pwede gawin...sarap nga itrick yung brain na ordinary day .. try digital detoxing, lakas makaapekto yung glow ng ilaw sa sleep pattern and quality...kahit mag nightmode on...

try not bringing any digital devices sa kama..

epekto ng stress at napaka baho kong schedule for 5 years..
and na bawasan physical activities ko.. and bad sleeping habit daw.
dim light, comfy bed, exercise and iwas stress..

bili ka ng 2mg na melatonin capsules. over the counter naman sya. popular brand is sleepwell. sleepasil is herbal and only works for a short period of time dahil bigla kang magkakaron ng chamomile extracts sa katawn mo. after a while, placebo na sya.

i used to stock up on melatonins noon addicted pa ako sa pagbubuhat sa gym at pagtakbo. my routine is gulp pre-workout boosters, buhat/takbo, drink why protein, uwi, rest, ligo, inom melatonin 30 mins prior to sleeping, close the curtains/blinds sa kwarto, palamig sa aircon, sleep away.

sa fat burners din nakatulong sakin. i used to take Nutrex Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate in the morning, work, take another capsule before lunch, work, gym, uwi, ligo, bangag, tulog. ito yung sa sobrang concentrated ng caffeine content nya, pupwersahin nyang mag burn ka buong araw so gising na gising ka. pag nag wear out yung effect, ayun, sabog ka na.
