noob question lang mga bossing, ive been wanting to replace my amp sa church. im using washburn bad dog 25watts. sobrang lubog ako sa tugtugan kahit maliit lang ang church namin. di talaga ako marinig pagnagsabay sabay na instruments and vocals. no dont mic our instruments kasi kulang kami sa equipment.

can this cub10 makes my sound louder na lulutang na ako sa mix? di na din need ng extension cab or mic?

if so, then this is the amp for me.

Yung clean headroom ba nito eh pede sumabay sa drums in a band settings. Hanggang stage volume lang at least. Kc planning to mic the amp.

And adding an extension cab ba, eh will increase the clean headroom (let say a 4x12  or a 2x12 cab)

I doubt na clean pa ang tunog nito kung sasabay sa drummer. It'll be slightly overdriven at stage volume, I think.
I haven't tried plugging in the Cub10 into a seperate cab, sorry.

Similar to my answer to ghoststalker's question.. I think medyo mahihirapan pa rin ang Cub10 in a full band setting, lalo kung hindi immic.

ok. before kasi sir lumulutang naman ako kahit yung washburn 25watts lang tunog ko. pero medyo lumulubog ako pagsumabay na yung 1 guitar with a raon amp. mas mataas kasi wattage nya i guess.

how does a cub10 compared to a 25watt SS amp? in terms of lakas, mas malakas ba ang 1owatt tube amp kesa sa 25 watts SS? also, considering na 10 inch ang speaker ng cub 10 tapos 8 inches lang ang 25watts SS?

pasensya na sir sobrang noob lang talaga pagdating sa amp eh.

imo, this laney cub is great as a bedroom amp. acoustic jam, pwede rin, pero kun full band setting, parang mahihirapan siya. malakas siya oo, pero kapag hinampas na yun drum, mejo lulubog pa rin siguro tunog mo. maybe a 50watters solid state amp would be better compared to this amp in a full band setting. hehe.

The Cub10 is considerably louder than my old 15 watt amp - yun lang ang masasabi ko. 
Di ko alam kung may connection ang speaker size sa volume.. all I know is bigger speakers push more air, thus better bass response.

on the topic of bass response pala bro, kamusta siya? ahaha. chumu-chug chug ba? haha. ndi pa ako nakakabalik ulet sa mall para magtest nitong amp na to muli e, kaya umaasa muna ako sa mgareview dito. hehe.

I don't think mabibitin ka sa bass response nitong amp. For my tastes, siguro the bass response could be tighter. That could be fixed by a speaker change, I think. But that's splitting hairs already, IMO. Hehe.

I second to this, mejo loose nga young bass nya, maski ano EQ settings ko sa MFX ko mejo nangingibabaw pa rin yung loose bass freq nya. By the way, I love the tone of this amp when using parallel inside coils of PafPro and Evo. Tamang settings lang acoustic-like ang tone nya.

if i were to sell it maybe at around 9-10k. still unsure. testing muna ako sometime ng cub10 to make sure kung ok ung headroom nya.

OT lang:
Yung Marshall MG15 ko, kaya naman sabay sa drums. 15watter lang yun.

But of course having a louder amp on stage eh mas ok, lalo na kung biglang sablay yung timpla sa house or biglang nawala tunog ng PA

Thanks. Nope, I haven't tried the AC4TV yet, but it would be interesting to see/hear a comparison of the two amps. Well, there's an 8ohm speaker output, so you can even hook up the Cub10 to a 4x12 cab.

burnthyfret: Hindi ko alam kung pano iddescribe yung 'loose' & 'tight' bass.. but here goes. Yung Cub10 kasi, medyo kalat yung tunog ng bass. It sounds okay, but it could sound better. Kung 'tight', parang mas focused ang labas nung bass frequencies. (I think I made the topic even more confusing  )

Mardk: Thanks man. Kaya naman yata (di ko pa kasi nasusubukan), pero for sure hindi na clean ang tunog. Mejo overdriven na yan.

i just got this baby last sunday night!!! an anniversary gift from my beloved fiance.

this amp is really waaarrrmmm!!!

a very pedal friendly amp:
with my bad monkey, lalo ko naappreciate yung pagiging over drive nya with this amp.
with my brit ds1, more marshall-ish
with my trigain mt2, chugchug all the way
with all my modulation peds, sounds great too
even with my zoom g1, nabawasan yun pagiging masyadong digital sounding

well, sa tenga ko lang siguro but that is how i can describe this wonderful amp.

hirap bitiwan ng guitar ko ngayon because of this amp.
