last set sir, wawa man! sa 30 pa ko makakabili, dahil sa 30 ako darating sa manila, tas sa cebu pa, wala na cgurong chance!!!! wala na bang ibang branch sir, na pwede ko pagbilhan ng scimitar set? salamat!!!

Bro, try to have the cymbals brought to a branch near you. Try mo lang.

Sa JB Forums kasi, minsan may forumites na nagrerequest na ipadeliver yung item sa JB branch na malapit sa kanila. Then alam ko may downpayment system sa JB to have items reserved. Tanong mo na rin specifics sa number na binigay ni sir JBMSI.

big problem sir! andito pa ko Saudi sir! sa 30 ako darating. ok lng sana kahit anong site or branch. pero un nga hanggang ngayon di ko nkakahanap! pero if ever wala na talaga ung b8 na set ayos na un? and ung scimitar sayang din ano? salamat sir, malaking tulong talaga kyo, dati ang tanga2 ko sa ganto, kya planet Z ang bagsak ko,hehehe......

OK lang yan bro, I started with Planet Z's as well.

Yeah, sayang yung Scimitar. 8k for brand new pies - kahit second hand, mahirap makakita nyan!

Anyway, Scimitar naging 2nd set ko after my Planet Z's. Sabian B8's naman madalas ko magamit sa bar house kits.

Basta, whichever set you end up with, may gems yang mga yan. I, for one, love and still use the Scimitar Ride. Sa Sabian B8's naman, panalo yung Crash. It's the best entry-level crash I've heard, seriously. Yung ZBT medyo underperforming para sakin eh.

try mo i-PM si mr. JBMSI, i think he's affiliated with JB music. alam ko pwede din ipadeliver sa nearest. kung may credit card ka. or kamag anak dito, sa kanila mo na ipareserve.

not sure if you can find some "cloned" cymbals sa pinas but there's a store here that sells really good made in china cymbals

yung B8 set na may free 18" then dispose the 16". ok yung 18", 20" and 14" hats B8 combo

Cheap and Best can't go hand in hand. For me I prefer 2nd hand mid/high end cymbals. But if you want brand new, Try stagg SH and/or Sabian B8 set.

Cheap and decent siguro. I would go for the STAGG DH or SH lines. pero be diligent in selecting as they have inconsistency issues.

My next choice would be the ISTANBULs. a little pricier than STAGGs but better sounding IMHO.

+1 on the Staggs. Pero kailangan mapili ka. Magdala ka ng drummer pag bibili ka ng Stagg para hindi lemon ang
mabili mo. The inconsistencies are due to their handmade nature, kahit mga high end stuff tulad ng Bosphorus
prone din sa ganyang inconsistency dahil handmade nga.

The SH and DH sound really good. the Furia line is even more inconsistent, but they do have excellent splashes.
SH ang pinakamura na line, I think.

Imagine mo yung trip mong tunog sa cymbals para pag nasa music store ka my idea ka sa sound na hinahanap mo. Mag search ka din sa youtube ng mga cymbals na pasok sa budget mo at goodluck sa paghahanap ng cymbals

Marami namang video sa youtube na nagdedemonstrate ng cymbals. Sometimes yung ka-parallel na model ng isang brand na cymbals ay hinahalintulad sa isa pang brand.

At the end, choice of sound mo rin yun and style ng music.
