Classified for Guitar Parts... (exclusively for pickups and guitar parts...) (bass / guitar)

waaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!! or can i just say there should be segregation sa mga parts at accessories (w/c accessories nga ba ang pickups etc... :?)

just a suggestion though... :?

and yung mga hindi naa-update na thread (sa classifieds) for 2 weeks dapat i-delete na...

para lumuwag naman ng konti dito sa philmusic... and kung makaka-contribute to para bumilis / efficient tong philmusic bakit hindi? :|

bwahahahahahaha!!!

Clinics and related events..
« Reply #231 on: May 28, 2009, 02:29:40 AM »
Moderators, i suggest that we have a separate thread for clinics and related stuff. So that sabihin nating drummer ako, but then gusto ko ring pumunta sa mga bass clinics or guitar clinic, i could easily be informed and so everyone can profit out of it. If we'll have a general thread for clinics and festivals life would be a lot easier...

try mo nalang sa pinoydrum forums. mas madaming bumibisita dun sa drummers, madami din kasi ang minsan bibisita lang sa PM at diretso na dun sa gusto nilang sections. mas mabilis ka pang makakakuha ng feedback

I don't know, but what i'm trying to say is that, sana may sariling thread yung clinics and events (regardless of the instrument) drum clinic man yan, bass clinic, guitar clinic etc. uhm... i think it would be of great help...

yes. so create the thread yourself. AFAIK, guitar central has successfully organized clinic(s). clinics dont get made everyday so creating a sub forum for clinics is, to me, not practical. so, getting back to my previous post, lets just stick to making threads on corresponding instrument sub forums since its more practical for casual users.  just dont take my word for it, di ako mod. hahaha

@liahkim - the Classifieds are only a few clicks away. You've made it this far, a few more clicks with the mouse wouldn't hurt.

@peabrain - check the Guitar Accessories classifieds. We're already differentiated between guitars and accessories, using the search function should help. Of course, the older the post, the less likely that the item is still available.
Sonar 4.04PE/5.2PE/7.02PE/8.31 PE, Project 5 v2.5.1, EmulatorX 1.5, Cubase SL2, Ableton Live 7.14,  Intel Q6600 MSI P43 Neo 4Gb Crucial Ballistix Tracer DDR2-800, Emu 1820m, Yamaha DSP Factory, Terratec DMX 6fire

Have a Bass and Bass Accessories?
« Reply #237 on: October 30, 2009, 11:36:12 PM »
Yeah, it kinda sucks that it's all in one forum. I think having two separate sections for bass and bass accessories would be better. Even if the bass section doesn't move fast as it is right now, it'll be more organized to have 2 sections.

sir... pero parang always na "down" ang search function dahil sa stress sa server chuva chuva na yan... at isa pa... bukod sa undeleted "up" post (which aminado ako na hindi ko din magawang magdelete ng up) diba dapat yung mga iba dyan na... FCS na makulit at ayaw i-merge ang post nila ang nagpapadami ng mga up post, so parang naisip ko na dagdagan natin yung disection sa accesories... basta hirap ako magexplain... basta parang ganto:

1. Guitar Classified
2. Guitar Amplifiers & Effects
3. Guitar Parts & Accesories

basta parnag ganun... sir KitC...

total ayaw din naman nila na mag merge ng ads nila... eh di i-super segragate natin para di masakit sa mata kasi minsan...

parang ganito eh....

item example
FS:\ Item ni Selle#1 $900K
FS:\ Parts ni Seller2
FS:\ Effects ni Seller2
FS:\ Amps ni Seller2
FS:\ Straps ni Seller2

which diba? he can give a total of 4 ups a day, dagdagan mo pa ng link sa each of ad so basically you can have a 4 advertisement 4 links and 4 times na pede maview yung item mo na pede rin gawing ala chatroom yung post mo...

The thing is... most of the active ads are usually in the first 2 or 3 pages of the classifieds. Anything further than that can be considered inactive, especially if the threadstarter hasn't updated or bumped his threads.

di sir ang ibig ko sabihin yung iba nating forumer na, ayaw i merge yung ads nila as one,,, gaya dis morning sa guitars classifieds, i saw an ad na magkakasunod lang imbis na imerge,

ad1. STRAT
ad2. TELE
ad3. LP
^ na same naman ang seller...

e kung imerge nalang kaya nila yan... strict enforcement sana...

at gaya naman sa guitar accesories

ad1. pedals
ad2. straps
ad3. pickups and parts
^ isa lang ang seller... different ads...

kung ganun din lang ang mangyari, maigi pa i hiwalay na natin esp. sa guitar parts, para mabawasan lang ang sakit sa mata na makulit

The forum mods sometimes take the initiative and merge those posts, but it can be difficult to do so since we are not here 24/7. Best we can do at any given time is delete duplicate posts.

For the seller, it sometimes makes the post clearer if they advertise one product at a time since it becomes easier to track and negotiations do not become muddled over multiple item posts. Still, it is the TS's option to start a multiple item thread.

It can be hard to implement this strictly since PM is, first and foremost, a musician's forum, and not an active buy-and-sell site like sulit.ph or ebay. The classifieds here are mostly for the forumer's convenience and PM does not earn in any way from any transaction. Think of the classifieds as an online flea market.

The classifieds were originally meant as a service to forumers in selling/trading their gear, but PM was never intended to be a commerce site. To add a separate LF section would mean adding another layer to the already numerous sections in the forum. As it is, the mods have their hands full keeping check on the classifieds as well the other forum boards that we regularly moderate.

In any event, the classifications are clear; FS are For Sale posts, FT means For Trade, and LF stands for the Looking For posts. Often, posts that are past the 5th page in the classifieds are usually inactive already - some forumer just don't update their old classifieds to indicate if the item has been sold, traded or found. But if an item is active, the buyer or seller will bump their post everyday so that it climbs to the top of the list. Note that only the threadstarter is allowed to bump their own post while bumps by other posters will be actively deleted.

"The Blowing Section" caters to woodwinds and brasses, but yeah, you're right, we don't have much in the way of orchestral instrument forums. I'll take it up with the admins.

Wla po bang Band Manager Thread dito...

It's easy to create one. We just don't see a need to create a separate forum for one.

PAti po yung selling of composition... :?

Online selling of compositions is a thorny issue regarding possible piracy and copyright issues.
