LA 2A on guitars

 i know that LA2A 's are used mostly on vocals... has anyone used an LA 2A on guitars??..ie.  semi hollow guitar to mic pre ( UA 2 610) to LA 2A.. what do you guys think?? 8-) i connected it before to the UA 2 1176 and the signal was too compressed..

just finished recording today and tried the LA 2A on guitars, it sounded like the guitar sounds on disco recordings before.. 8-).. the guitarist says it sounded brighter and mellow.. reminds me of that rhythm guitar on that song " Funky Town"

depends on the setting lang, and on the sound you want to achieve. basically, easy with the LA-2A on guitars coz it can easily crush the transients. ok for funk, blues, jazz - not so much for fast riffing parts.
