Check your mixer sa software.  Recording mo dapat line-in not mic.  May checkbox dun when you click the speaker icon.

Yun na ang naka select pero pag magrerecord na, walang narerecord.

^ source of the audio should be specified to this input. This can be enabled in the control panel. sound and audio devices. then check your software to select this source for the input.  :-)

saan po me available books or magazine about mastering audio?

medyo ok na din ako sa tamang mix like panning sa drums and guitars

i want our home made cd like a commercial release cd's

question:

1. what are the things to do para mapalakas ko yung audio that we record..(ex. when i played it sa ipod.mahina siyaa khit todo volume na, unlike those mp3 audio na ang lakas nila kapag todo ang volume :)..

2.dapat ba kpag nag record ka nasa green meter lights lang every input? hindi naabot ng yellow?

you can check our home studio @ laguna(pacita, sanpedro)

im using

m-audio profire 2626
xl2400 behringer mixer

di na maximize yung level ng master track. kailangan i-adjust para maging malakas or standard yung volume nya compared to other songs. check the level of the master track, it's ok to na mag-red yung meter from time to time but not almost all the time of the song.

sa 2nd chain na wala yung amp definitely malaki ang difference sa tone. lalo na sa electric guitar since malaki ang contribution ng guitar amp sa output sound. para makuha yung tunog ng amp either mic yung amp or gamit ka ng direct-out ng amp to interface or both.

ngayon, nagiging popular na ang guitar direct recording: guitar -> interface -> computer, since mas simple talaga ito compared to traditional mic-the-amp method and mas marami na pwedeng gawin sa tunog because of digital modelling.  :-)

1. pwede ko bang gamitin yun na pang record.

Seriously, no. But if that's the only amp you have, there's no rule that says you can't use what you have on hand. Just don't expect professional sounding results.

2. if yes ano pang hardware/software ang kailangan ko para ma-connect yung amp sa pc at marekord ang sound..

Connect the line out of the amp to the line input of the computer. Use software such as Audacity or Reaper to get started. As for details, try to read up on the "PC Recording" sticky. Lots of info there that would be too much to repeat here.

Sonar 4.04PE/5.2PE/7.02PE/8.31 PE, Project 5 v2.5.1, EmulatorX 1.5, Cubase SL2, Ableton Live 7.14,  Intel Q6600 MSI P43 Neo 4Gb Crucial Ballistix Tracer DDR2-800, Emu 1820m, Yamaha DSP Factory, Terratec DMX 6fire

Yes, the cable will work. Just make sure to use line in, NOT MIC IN.

Use the back panel connections, not the front panel. Fiddle around with the sounds control panel applet for best sound.

No.

Either use M-audio gear for the M-powered version or Digidesign hardware for the LE version. That's all I can legally tell you.
