I need help masters, don't know the next step for my pedalboard

Korg pitch black

Mxr carbon copy
Dunlop crybaby wah
Boss ce5
I need help I feel like my sound is lacking

I'm currently arming a fender stratocaster axe and I think I'm somehow achieving the warm tone I've been going for from red hot. But it's lacking somehow. Flair maybe? I can't explain. Maybe it's the guitar

Red Hot Chili Peppers? Might be a good idea to find out more about John Frusciante's guitar equipment. I'm guessing the flair you're referring to is the "spanky" sounds from Fru's strat, which is mostly attributable to the way he plays, and the setup of the instrument in general

When you gig, do you bring your own amp or you just use whatever's on the stage? If you dont bring your own amp to gigs, I suggest you buy a distortion pedal and an eq pedal.

plus a clean boost wont hurt. For when you need to up your solos or just want a boost in yout overall volume

first, get a better amp.

if you're looking fro the frusciante sound, you cant get it with a tubescreamer alone. Fru uses a Boss DS2 couple with an EHX Big Muff. and his wah was an Ibanez WH10 if im not mistaken.
