i hope those who have tried out gfs pickups can give me some advice. anong magandang bridge pickup for a godin sd with maple body and rosewood fretboard? gusto ko sana yung warm sounding pag naka overdrive chaka ung hindi masyadong hot. tipong pang classic rock at blues rock. chaka may noiseless single coil neck pickup ba sila na kuha pa rin ung true single coil sound? thanks!

Try mo yung Vintage '59 na humbucker or yung Fat PAF kung gusto mo ng konting grit pa. I havent tried their single coils, but I have their hot lead rails pickups for the tele and I like them

i have the vintage split coil installed on my squire telec custom and the a set of premium alnico II on my fender strat. ok sya for its price.i think goodbuy sya. sa akin kse me nakita akong improvement sa tone ng guitar ko .

Anyways,

I got the Dream 180 on the neck and a mean 90 on the bridge of my 335 clone. The mean 90 really bites and the dream 180 on the neck is really warm but clear sounding.

I also have the Overwound Alnico Stagger Pickup Set on my el cheapo strat. I dunno if it's because the pickups were scooped, but I can get a not-so-bad impression (IMHO lang naman) of John Mayer clean tones.

None.

I've got GFS alnico fatbodies in my tele. It sounds good.

The tele is for sale...

True. Pero mas masasatisfy ka knowing that you have the "real one". If you go GFS, eventually baka ibenta mo rin at pag-ipunan ang PAF PRO.

malaki ba price difference? hindi ko din kasi masyado tinitignan yung sites ng Dimarzio or SD. kasi parang nahihilo ako sa sobrang daming variants nila. nakakalito na.

just visited the guitarfetish website and saw that the GFS professional series now has humbuckers! Alnico II, V and V+ respectively.
