to be honest, i dont see the point in changing the decal of your guitar into a well-known brand. sure, you would have bragging rights among the ones who dont know anything, but sooner or later, malalaman pa rin yan.

i also dont see the point in people owning certain brands for bragging purposes. the only reason i am getting a Gibson acoustic is because it sounds good, and it holds a decent resale value - both of which are not true if you change brand x's decal into a "gibson"

my advice: don't do it
