I'd rather surprise JB in one of their upcoming gigs... Haven't been in touch w/ him since I got married & raise a family ( toughest gig of all time)

... I haven't even been on his Orange bar/club (during the late 90s)?... the last time we were together (w/ Jett P) was at the Victory Party of Earth, Wind & Fire (w/c my sister produced) some two decades back...

I did see & hanged out w/ Caloy at Carlos Santana's concert @ Araneta...

Dodo was also a good friend... Jazzer yan, we used to jam @ the Galan's compound in Taft Ave also... mga La Salle boys kasi sila, dun nagka kilala mga yan, jam jam... tas nag session na siya as keys w/ the Dawn. pero George Benson mag gitara yang si Dodo... teka, maka arbor nga ng tickets sa Andy Timmons Clinic

Product manager yan sa Audiopile... sya lang naman pinapadala ng AP sa NAMM conventions

kelan nga yung tribute for TD? sa 20th? I'll be there. sana si Kiko din. Met him sa NU when Mike Turner & I had an interview ( Against The Flow )... Kiko was also into Mahavishnu Orchestra, we talked a lot about guitars... & would occasionally bumped into each other at NU107 events ( Rock Awards, OctoberFest...), Nagkita din kami ni Kiko recently sa PhilJazz Festival, Mike Stern's concert... kwentuhan about gears (didn't know about the "break up" thing...) he was a Fender Strat guy before switching to Gibson Les Pauls & Explorers... I hope they would patch things up... not for the fans, not for themselves, & not even for "yoko ono"

but for Teddy! Yun lang!!!

Yeah Jb was part owner of Orange (Renamed Olive) and Peligro. Si Dodo very active din sa mailing list. Pinuntahan nga siya ni Jb and Kenneth sa Audiophile Paco recently because Kenneth needed new gear.

Tribute for Teddy will be on the 20th of August (salubong na din sa death anniversary Aug. 21).

Album launch/premier will be on July 22 with a live performance aired on NU107 at exactly 10:35am (Kasabay ng Solar Eclipse!

)

Does that mean nagkaroon ng falling out and The Dawn and Kiko? Well, siguradong ma-mimiss natin sya. He's been with the band for the longest time.

wow..just read both sides of the story. both have valid points, it like a chicken and egg debate.

sadly, they refuse to SPEAK and LISTEN to each other.

last time I saw them TOGETHER was during our NATCON in Fort Ilocandia (March 2009), i think every year since 2005 they would play for us along with other bands.

I thought they've outgrown it already hehehehe...but I'm still their avid fan eversince Teddy's tragic loss.... I think i'm sticking with them because of Ted's influence to them....Iam still the fan of the Dawn and Kiko.
