Never liked the Air Norton. Too stiff sounding.. Liquifire has really nice cleans and I agree with it being "fluid".  :-D

agreed! liquifire talaga! never liked the AN and TZ combo. but weirdly enough, i like the AN and TZ that came on stock with my j.custom. kaya natatakot ako magupgrade baka pangit dito isalpak yung mga usual na gusto kong pickups.

Just installed a John Petrucci set (Liquifire + CrunchLab) combo.
I'd say it really sounded balanced both clean and distorted.

I use a Transition on the Neck position of my '82 Gibson V (Im using a Duncan Screamin' Demon on the Bridge).

Dahil hindi ako nag-research before buying, I ended up with a neck pickup with higher output than my bridge pickup hehe. The Transition was not only more high gain, it was a lot darker too...almost automatic "woman tone". I've always used the neck pickup for cleans by rolling off the guitar volume and I can't do that now.

But i'm sticking with the Transition on the Neck. Ok sya pag soloing-woman tone-stuff...will just use the Screamin Demon in the Bridge for everything else

Kung JB yan or Duncan Distortion sayang lang :-D  I- reserba mo na lang yan sa ''future'' guitar mo ...IMO it doesn't make sense to put another High-Output pick-up sa neck (unless you're Dimebag )

Ano bang klaseng SD pick-up yan bro?

HSS config sa Strat. D-Activator / Cruiser (Neck) / Chopper.

im just wondering gaano ka-accurate yung pickup picker nila sa website nila.  :?
been thinking of getting at-1 for bridge and paf36th for neck as the picker suggests.
Instead of searching for what to buy next, why not search for what to learn next?

For what guitar and application? I found the AT1 to be too compressed.  :-(

Just bought and installed a DP420 or Virtual Solo...I'm getting a Virtual Vintage Heavy Blues 2 for the neck of my Project Strat, an expensive project after the Dimarzio Pups and Emerson electronics upgrade.

Btw, I am loving the Virtual Solo

Hi guys, do you also adjust pickup pole pieces?
