That's a very difficult question. Try getting a two-rock amp. Its the easiest way if you couldn't have John's hands, brain and nerves.

ang magandang mapromote ng club natin ay HINDI POP SI JOHN!!! hehehe dami kong nakausap na when i ask about John Mayer, medyo natatawa kse alam lang nila yung first album... di nila alam yung talent behind the music....

Waha I know what you mean bro. It's a brilliant move for JM actually to start as a Pop Musician before heading into material that's closer to his heart. You just won't get the same cred (nor the album sales) if you did this in reverse. So I guess that draws a very sad picture of what the music industry is like. You're not a Musician if you don't have an MTV [strawberry] ironic isn't it?).

@andrton
thanks man, if its that good then it looks like the album's worth buying the CD then :)

Aside from being a great guitar player, he's also one of the funniest dudes ever.

I've heard some live records where he really sounds exactly like SRV in vocals. Old Love's one. He also admitted that his singing is highly influenced by SRV and people dont realize it.

I've tried an email before. Nothing too. But he was my friend in myspace. Now I dunno what da heck happened to my account...or i just forgot my password. Lol

Do you have a band? What genre? I'm looking to put up a Blues Trio and as you might have guessed, nahihirapan ako dahil halos walang musician sa generation natin ang mahilig sa blues.

EDIT: Dont take his "email" thing in his website too seriously. First, he surely doesn't have time to answer those emails at all if he even reads 'em. Second, and if you're lucky enough, somebody else will answer pretending to be John for obvious reasons.

i know he won't reply to my email or to your email. If we're lucky, he'll probably read them along with this thread, but thats if he's got time. heheeheheh

no i actually don't have a band right now. Just a crappy college band that plays half a gig a month and i actually don't like the stuff they like. So i'm free as a bird. Nagkakaagiw na nga ata yung highway one tele ko sa bahay.

Even the British fans are frustrated of Mayer not leaving USA much. I'd say I'd reserve the excitement untill I can go to USA and see a show myself. Hopefully in a laid back and more intimate atmosphere.

Baket nga ba di naalis si JM sa US? hmmm malabo talaga na magtour siya dito.

The highlight of my life as a guitarist would be watching John Mayer play "gravity" live. heheheh  :-D
