Why do you like your favorite drummer?

Jeff Porcaro = groove + taste

 

it took me awhile to learn that.
date kasi more on technical prowess kaya gusto ko sila buddy rich, bonham, weckl, donati, peart etc etc
pero lately i've learn their more than chop masters..it's all about the time keeping and making it feel good even when playing a solo.

Mike Portnoy - one of the MOST phenomenal drummers out there.

...aside having a kick-ass band...though i wish he compose a proper drum solo for good instead of just doing and combining all his fav drum solo parts taken from all his fav drummers.

bilib na bilib ako sa mga compositions niya. parang nilalagyan
niya ng lyrics yung mga drum notes.
favorite ko yung hi hat beat na ginawa niya sa verse ng 'voices'.
