NINEMILE BAR GIG SCHEDS THIS MONTH!

Mga Rockers, kapatid sa Musika at Industria:

       Ninemile is a PRO-ARTIST bar. I want to make that clear. And because we want to help other bands na magkaron ng ibang venue to play (specially bands who are just starting-off, kase pinagdaanan din namin yan...) we are open to productions. But only to productions who are "pro-artist" as well. We understand that some prods also want to earn. But we are no longer accepting "Pay to Play" prods or "compulsary" ticket selling. This is because, I am a musician too. And I find it lucrative to ask the bands to sell tickets for the prod when they are already playing FOR FREE!!! We are ok with ticket selling (at the night itself) as long as the prod takes care of the bands they are inviting. (this means complimentary drinks/food/gas allowance or gateshare to main acts atleast, if you cant afford all the bands.)


        Also, hindi na kami tumatangap ng more than 10 bands line-up. This is because I feel bad for the last few bands who's gonna play. Even if the event starts early... (You might have experienced this one time or another, na nalelate mga bands for their calltime for whatever reason, and the event is delayed so the last band plays really late with almost no audience.) We encourage all bands to be professional and show-up on time and the productions team to prioritize main acts and bands who came in first. Para maiwasan natin ang mga nag wawalk-out na bands. Also stay for the event. Para walang naargabyadong bands or anyone.

         We also dont tollerate bad behavior. Bawal ang "rockstar attitude" sa bar namin. (This means purposely destroying property, stealing, nudity, starting fights, breaking bar equipments (if its your own, then were ok with that), throwing inanimate objects in the air or at someone else, vandalism... etc etc etc... If you are a band with fans or a productions with this type of crowd, please control your crowd. Hindi po to summer slam. ***Know that Ninemile in coordination with all rock bars: Saguijo, Route 196, Freedom Bar, Gweilo's, Clubdredd, Mayrics, Mag:net, Bigskymind, ten-02, Penguin, and some other bars in Metro Manila will BAN all bands and productions who are pasaway.*** This is just one text from any of the bar owners. SO BEHAVE!!! SERYOSO!!!

      We do not serve alcohol to minors! (dagdag ko nalang ung ibang nakalimutan ko ilagay ha. Ang dami na nito eh!)

         
        Ituring nating bahay ang Ninemile, at ang iba pang mga bars na tinutugtugan natin. RESPETO LANG PO SA ISAT-ISA at sa lahat ng tao, hayop at kagamitan.

1. 1000php equipment maintenance fee.  500php down payment upon reservation of a date. No bar guarantee.
2. Maximum of 10 bands per productions, exceeding this, you will have to inform us. We are flexible as long as the prod is organized.
3. Submit final line-up 3 weeks before your event, Ninemile reserves the right to refuse bands or prods who are banned (by the rock bars organization) to play at our venue.
4. The management reserves the right to stop an event or any band from playing na nangugulo at any time.
5. The management reserves the right to refuse entrance if the place gets too packed.
6. Whatever you break, you pay for.
7. Encourage people to eat, drink, sing, and be merry!!! (uminom at mag happy-happy!)
8. Dancing is allowed as long as walang nasasaktan. =)
9. Para sa mga banda, magpasalamat sa prod na nagimbita sa inyo at sa mga sponsors.
10. Please be on time. Sumunod sa calltime at wag mag paka "rockstar".

napakasaya isipin yung improvement ng nine mile.. ayos.. kudos to cherry and archie.. naging ka pamilya ko na mga kasama ko mga banda na tumutugtog jan pati sina roxxie kakilala ko na hehehe bagamat di kame nakakatugtog ngayon.. i can still remember nung mga unang days namin na tugtog jan medyo ilang pa kame, pero ayos ang daming improvement, especially ung entrance, naging isa sa mga top venue na ang nine mile.. hope we can play again.. pagka may time dalaw kame jan..

ahm about what happened last night nabalitaan ko lang po from isa sa mga brother band namin about the production last night.. mahigit po ata sa 15 mga bands,tumugtog.. tsaka po about yung pagpapa alis sa mga minors sa event..
hope meron mag clear about that matter po.. anyways kita kits po sa susunod na gig..

this is the same principle that i am trying to put into my projects as well.kudos to archie and cherry for opening this bar.
i believe middle class is the first prod to open trhe bar and now im also trying to institutionalize shameless/feel music collective sa bar na to as well.
pro artist,pro music.dapat ganyan din isiping ng mga banda at prod ngayon,no bs in the business mga tsong.

as to people who want to instigate fights or show their rockstarness by destroying equipments etc pumunta kayo sa undergroud gigs(i mean malabon,malolos,cavite) and have yer ass kicked pare.
sana wag magpapansin para mapansin,there are so many gimmicks nowadays na nakakaumay na.get out of that  mentality,dapat nag iisip na tayo.kung wala ang nine mile,bri at roland(among a few bars na napatugtugan ko na), wala kayo playing ground.and when that happens,its going to be a sad day.

We're a 4 piece band that plays a fusion of funk, grunge and reggae and we just want to know how to get booked in one of your gigs.

Do you have like an audition set or jam night or do you mostly cater to productions?
Meron din ba kayong regular acts?

I admire your candor and the things you said on the start of this thread which is why na-attract ako to play in your venue.
