Title: Has anyone here switched to Windows 8?

Before I decide to officially switch from Windows 7 to 8, if anyone here has tried and used the new system, I'd like to hear from you!

I'd like to know about the known issues and problems with Windows 8 since I'm interested in developing Windows 8 applications. If it sounds interesting to you, you can check it out here:

Wala lng yung start button... hehehhe.. essentially its windows 7 + 1

Post by: ddefy on November 15, 2012, 12:53:02 AM: its like android/ios, designed more on/for touchscreen/tablet pc, ya it doesnt have start button. for me advisable to upgrade it to win8 if you have touchcreen pc, mejo nahihirapan ako pag hindi touchscreen using win8, imo

I might get the Surface Pro and will try it there..

Hehe depende parin siguro sa hardware; yung laptop ko inorasan ko boot up mga 15-20 seconds bago umabot sa login screen

@xelalien paano pala mag install ng dual os na win7 & 8?

i just bought a samsung laptop and it came with windows 8

The upgrade, Windows 8.1, has a Start button.

Post by: francisaustria on May 03, 2014, 10:34:36 PM: If you switch to windows 8/8.1 you'll get the benefits of having lots of app via windows store. For software developers, you can cope up with the latest developer tools used nowadays especially win 8.1. Your PC will also perform at its best with win 8/8.1 installed, been there done that, win7 sucks. Solid aesthetics all the way to keep you inspired working. At the end of the day, it's up to you if you make the switch. But as for me, I'll recommend switching to the latest :)

P.S. Please check you PC/laptop first kung kaya ba ng specs. Yung mga luma minsan di kaya and di supported ung ibang hardware. Yung dell laptop ko 2011 medyo pahirapan nung una pero okay na. hahaha. 8-)
