Never been into FPS games (well, except for house of the dead

).

Kahit sa CS di ako naloka.

Sa Battlefield 2 ako unang na-introduce sa CPU FPS games, and yeah, masaya siya with my officemates but corny pag single player lang.

Then I recently bought a PS3. Hehe, I decided to treat myself before I get married next year

And one of the 1st games I bought was COD4.

Oh, btw, I don't have an HD TV yet, might get one after our marriage, but I'm using S-cable plugged into a 32" flat screen TV.

All I can say is WOW!

Kahit S-cable lang, the visuals blew me away! Pano pa kaya pag naka HDMI

Grabe, first stage pa lang, I literally had goosebumps! Last time I felt like this for a game was noong FF-X pa, I think.
Tas nakakabit pa yung audio cables ko sa 5.1 speakers, and the sound is awesome! You can hear every footstep, every rustling sound of the bushes, every bullet shell that falls down to the ground.. everything!

And the gameplay... sarap! Sarap nung rush kapag nagtitirahan na ng kalaban! Well, semi-auto targeting makes it a bit easy. Fast-paced action that literally keeps me on the edge of my seat, and literally makes my palms sweat! Still haven't tried multiplayer yet, and i'm not confident about our wi-fi connection at home so I still haven't tried playing online

Ayun, this game has made me view FPShooters in a different light and I highly recommend this to everyone!

panalo ang graphics..
ngaun lang ako natuwa sa ganitong type ng game.. dating kasi yoko ng FPS..
naboboringan ako...

tpos ung schoolmate ko.. bumili nito.. kaso ayaw gumana sa pc nila.
niregalo na lang nia skn..

tpos ito nilalaro ko na! at naadik na ako! hahaha astig!
kaso ung unang part.. ung sa ship.. tpos naglalakad ka ng patagilid.. kasi lulubog na ung barko.. nahilio ako! hahaha..(medyo nasusuka pa nga ako eh.. tpos.. pag wounded ka.. tpos kelangan mo magtago.. nahihilo din ako dun hahaha)

pero overall.. Panalo! GOOD GAME!

kakatapos ko lang kanina nung stage na flashback 15 years ago ni price, tapos susundan mo yung commander niya while sniping your way out. sarap! talagang no margin for error! woohoo!

nahihilo ako pero after a few hours na.

kaya naman ng akin naka 6600gt ako pero di ko inaangat yung graphics eh. para wala na akong problema sa lag.

not sure, pero mataas yata talaga dapat para mas ma-appreciate mo.

try mo mag-search sa classifieds ng pinoypsx.com, baka may nagbebenta

pag 17K, malamang ang makuha mo ay PAL version na 40GB.
the 40GB version is not backwards compatible sa PS2 (others are), and walang card reader, and 2 USB ports lang, opposed to the 60 and 80GB which has 4 (and all the abovementioned features).

Pero OK na akosa 40GB

and if you have an HD TV, then wala ka din problem kahit PAL yung unit mo, since you'll be connecting via HDMI

Buti na lang multi-system yung SDTV ko (PAL <> NTSCI)

masaya siya sa veteran level. full on talaga yung sugod ng mga kalaban, lalo na dun sa middle east mission as Paul Jackson.

gaddamn na-stuck ako sa broadcasting office! yung level after marecover si Nikolai. yung part na papasok ka sa isang malaking room full of TVs, monitors and the like.

pano ba ang best approach dito sa lugar na to?

lagi kong ginagawa eh pupunta ako dun sa may offices sa west, pero bago ako makalabas sa north side eh binabato na ako ng mga limang granada. hahaha

nauubos ba yung kalaban o dating lang sila ng dating? kasi yung mga kakampi ko hindi nauubos eh, pag may namatay may dadating ulit. hehe

ang hirap nga ng Veteran level. hahaha isang bomba lang patay ka na.

sa una lang medyo nakakahilo. lalo na yung Prologue, kasi andun yung barkong lumulubog na nakakahilo nga. tska yung cinematic na pinatay yung president. nakakahilo talaga yun. pero after nun, wala na. parang counter-strike na din.

better kill the shooters on the second floor first... ginawa ko sa normal ay dun lang ako sa room to the right. i mean when you enter that room, dun ka sa right most room under the 2nd floor corridor.

This is the best FPS i've ever played!

Unforgettable pa yung ending! It's not one of the endings na makakalimutan mo after a few days. Hanggang ngayon, naalala ko pa yung eksaktong nangyari sa ending... hehehe

sa 360 meron pang bonus level after completing the game. Yung Save the VIP mission inside a plane. Meron din ba sa PC version?
